Strength:

WEGA WEGA WEGA, what more can I say. flat screen, crispy pictures, and a better than average sound system

Weakness:

too damn heavy.

This is an incredible TV. The picture is unbelievable. It is so vivid. I am not an audoi/video expert and I can only judge by what I see, what I saw was simple awesome. I've had this unit for 2 months and it has not let me down. Not considering the great deal I got on it. I found an advertisement on the internet for 759.99, brought that price to my local Sears store and they met the price. what more can you ask for. I'm now a loyal Wega user and Sears shopper.

I have my sony 560 dvd hook up to this baby with a yamaha 5240 and now my home theatre just rocks. Just saw Matrix and the sound and pictures were so real, I thought I was there myself.

Strength:

Overall Picture Quality. The set sounds really well without the need of a HT system when watching regular television. Looks. Remote is easy to use.

Weakness:

Color Banding problem, and the left 20% of the screen is darker than the rest of the screen!

WARNING TO ALL POTENTIAL SONY WEGA BUYERS: These TV's look sleek and "hi-tech", but they are a pain in the butt to get calibrated correctly!! I am going to Ultimate Electronics tomorrow and picking out MY THIRD wega (32" fv15). The first one that I got had some kind of darker shadow on the left 20% of the screen. So, I called Sony...they didn't know what I was talking about. I had Ultimate Electronics deliver a new Wega TV to me the next week. THEN, the same thing is happening on the SECOND Wega that I have now!! I called Sony again...this time they said that they had heard of this problem, and told me that there was no fix for this. I even had one Sony serviceman tell me to get a TV from a different manufacturer because there was no fix for this and he had heard that Sony was not going to fix this problem in the newer models because there was only a "small percentage of TV's with the problem". I have heard in fact that the 2000 model (32fv16) is supposed to be void of such problems, but I am skeptical. If this one has ANY problems what-so-ever, I will be taking THIS one back too, and will never be buying a Sony Wega TV again! So, in short, if you decide to chance it...pay over 1,000 for a supposed "nice tv", and you get home and it doesn't look like you expected...RETURN IT AND GO WITH SOMETHING ELSE!! This is ridiculous to spend this much money on a TV and have THIS MANY PROBLEMS with it! That's just my 2 cents. Just be cautious, and use your best judgement.
