Strength:

Excellent Picture. One of the best I have ever seen. The universal remote was easy to program.

Weakness:

There appears to be a problem with the on/off switch. My TV will suddenly turn off, then on again. I have replaced the TV and had same problem with the replacement. The Retailer is trying to blame problem on the electrical outlet or that I am near someone else's Infrared signal. Same problem happened when I took the TV to my parents to see if problem still existed.

Overall a great TV. Worth the money if the switch problems can be fixed. May be a recall issue.

I recently purchased this television for $799 at Best Buy. The picture quality and resolution is outstanding. I hooked up a Pioneer DV-414 to it and was blown away. The digital comb filter is a definite improvement over my 5 year old Magnavox. The remote is easy to use and did not need programming to control my new Sony VCR. I would highly recommend this product to everyone. Don't be a cheapskate and settle for a lesser quality TV if you are looking for a 32". The Sony Trinitron picture tube is well worth the extra money.

I’ve had this television for about 3 weeks now as a replacement to a Toshiba CX32H60. I’ve viewed this tv rather critically, and I’m impressed with it. Vertical lines are very straight. Text displays crisply. I toggled the color temp and set dynamic picture “off”, subtle changes that make the color and piture about as accurate as I’ve ever seen. Sound is good and rich, too. Strongly recommended.

Strength:

Everything

Weakness:

A little bit pricy, but something you've come to expect from SONY quality products.

Picture is crisp and clear. Sound is surprisingly full and rich. Easy to use remote control and on-screen menus. Seamless integration with other SONY products. Overall a must buy in the 32" range.

Strength:

Picture - Easy to use - all around great addition!!!

Weakness:

Only can label 15 channels with call letters, thats minor though - its excellent

I am very impressed with the Trinitron screen, I would of payed full price for this television if I had not found the damaged one, because of the quality of it. I currently have cable and love the picture in picture, but if you have a DSS you will need two receivers. The onscreen menu's are very east to use and learn. Like the surround sound effect since I have not upgraded my receiver yet.
