Excellent TV! Absolutely no problems after 9 mths. My "projection friends" are blown away by the detail and color with plain ol' cable. DVDs are outstanding. I purchased a the matching swivel stand by Tech Craft which makes it easy to get behind when/if you need to.

fantastic tv , iwanted the xbr hiscan 36 inch but i could not afford it and after carefull study i found the xbrs picture to be suspect,it up converts ntsc signal to simulated digital and looks very very scaley...pixel nightmare...this waS A COMPROMISE AS THE PICTURE MAY NEED TO BE RESET FROM TIME TO TIME BUT MY XBOX LOOKS INCREDIBLE WELL WORTH THE PRICE ...SOMETIMES SETTLING FOR LESS IS GETTING MORE.

Awesome viewing area, nice for DVD''s, gaming, etc.

After careful shopping, decided on this 36" monster and for the most part, was very satisfied with it. Recently, it developed a green or purple colored 4"- 5" oval "stain", apparently from a defect in the picture tube. Sometimes it''s not there, but mostly, it''s an eyesore, located on the right side of the screen below the top corner. Actually noticed it a couple weeks after I picked it up. Once it appears, it remains there until you turn it off, only to return several minutes after the set is turned on. Also, I had to set the tilt to max to level the picture off. Any more, I''d have to tilt the set itself! Am in the process of getting a replacement so will see how that goes. Problem is, I delivered the first set to save $60 and am not thrilled about my son and I doing it again.

BS, there is no way this guy gets the TV that cheap. Cost for the dealer has to be over $1200. Great TV though. It''s the exact same model as the KV36XBR250. My old Toshiba SD-3109 DVD player still looks just fine on it, and my XBox looks great too. I wish I had two component inputs though.

For my tastes the picture is way overrated. i have to tell you i''m so disappointed in this t.v after all the hype it turn out to be a dud. the picture is to dark. I have put the brightness at the max, which means i''ll be buying a new television in the near future. I don''t know what else to do.

I just bought this TV a week ago and love it. It's not HD, but with component cables from Target and the 16:9 enhanced, the DVD's look incredible. I'm an avid gamer and I must tell you, games look fantastic on this tv. If you you own a PS2 or Gamecube you can purchase the svideo cables and get an even nicer picture. I'm just using the regular composite cables for my games (DVD is using the component) and they still look great. They sound excellent on the TV speakers, too. I prefer my surround sound system, but the television speakers are very impressive.

We have two 32XBR's at my work, and I would still choose this model over them for the size difference - the picture is that good. I got it for 1150.00 at the good guys after a little haggling. That was with the delivery thrown in. This thing will break your back so get it delivered.
