Strength:
Absolutely stunning picture when using DVDs and the Xbox. Sound is good. A good many inputs. The price is coming down now.
Weakness:
The included universal remote has no DVD capability. PIP should be standard on a high dollar tube TV. Some channels on DISH look pretty bad. (Not really the TVs fault though) A knowledgeable friend had told me once that Sony and Toshiba make the best sets. After looking at the selection of sets at BestBuy I can agree with that. The Sony and Toshiba looked almost identical and were leaps and bounds nicer than the RCAs, Magnavoxs, etc. I eventually settled on the Toshiba after comparing the prices and features. The Sony was $300 more than the Toshiba! Setup went smoothly when I got home. When using the ColorStream inputs with the Xbox and MonsterCable the picture is amazing. The Xbox isn't supposed to be that great when viewing DVDs but it's incredible when used with this set. Games look great also. I use Dish and some channels look bad. For example, I can see compression artifacts when watching the Speed channel. I eventually decided that high-end TVs accentuate the good sources and make the bad sources even worse.
