Picked up this unit locally for $1,200. Used with RCA 5510 DVD, Panasonic PV-8664 VCR, Teac AGD-9100 DD reciever, Optimus CS-3 center, LX-10 fronts, LX-8 rears and CSW Bass Cube-12 sub. Excellent and vibrant color reproduction, epecially on DVDs such as Fifth Element and Austin Powers when viewed through component input. Calibrated it with Video Essentials, needed very little adjustment outside of brightness (black level). 3 composite, 1 component, 1 S-VHS and 2 antenna inputs. Nice features like 2-tuner PIP, strobe (frame-by-frame freeze and advance of anything viewed through set) and color temperature adjustment, among others. Optional stand integrates with the set nicely. Don't use the set's speakers at all, so won't comment on them. |

Strength:
Great Picture, Easy setup and Easy to use remote.
Weakness:
None I found this set for $699 dollars at PC Richards in New York. I was hesitant at first because of all the problems with a moire problem with other Toshiba TVs. I never had a problem or seen one. It has the best picture I ever seen. |
