Strength:
Great color, component inputs, PIP
Weakness:
remote, sound I had been looking at various 32" TV's for some time, and then came about some info that blew me away. Toshiba actually uses the same parts for the cx32 model that they use for their cenima series. WOW, I had to see this TV! Once I saw it, I bought it, hooked it up my pana A-120 DVD player thru the components inputs...again WOW! what a picture! Their are a few things lacking one of them is sound, even though I have a home-theater sometimes I don't want to turn everything just to get some decent sound from my TV. The other thing is the remote, it's not universal, and there's to many buttons to press to set or unset favorite channels. The only TV, I would consider buying for a few extra hundred dollars would be the panasonic superflat, but at this price (700.00) this tv can't be beat! Similar Products Used: sony |

I also got mine from 800.com...for $649 delivered. I've only had ait for a few days. It replaces a 25" Sanyo that I've had for about 8 years. The picture is definitely clear and bright. I mainly bought it to pair with my new Toshiba 2109 DVD player. Using the Colorstream component inputs yields a fantastic picture when playing DVD's. The coax input also produces a fine picture from my cable and VCR. I love the 2-tuner PIP. Overall, I'd say this TV was a fantastic bargain. |

Here is a follow up to my previous review. 800.com sent another TV after the first arrived crushed. The second TV worked beautifully for approx three weeks then without warning I turned it on and the whole picture tube had a dark red tinted picture that could not be fixed by adjustments.I only watched a few TV programs and most viewing was done via DVD using the colorstream inputs. Don't know what the problem was--but obviously something serious had occured to the picture tube. Called 800.com and am currently awaiting a refund for the second time. I will not order anymore online TV's at this time. I guess the good price really didn't mean much at all in the long run. I won't purchase a Toshiba set again either and am currently looking locally for a Sony or Zenith. |

Strength:
Great prices can be had on this set from 800.com and Amazon.com. Has all the features you'd ever want and component video. This set will be great to throw in the bedroom when you replace your main tv with a digital one.
Weakness:
Speakers aren't the greatest, but who uses them anyways. You can't pass up this set if you want something to hold you off for a few years while the dust settles with hdtv. I have no complaints and think the picture is just as good as any other set. |

Strength:
Very Crisp Picture. Picture in Picture
Weakness:
It only worked for an hour I was very excited to get this from 800.com. It worked beautifully for about an hour the BLAM!! blank sceen. It wouldnt turn back on. 800.com is sending a replacement now and the one i currently have is going to be picked up now. I hope the next set works. I am doubting that i will ever buy a tv off of the internet again. When the set worked though I was very impressed with the clearity of the picture and the picture in picture was a nice luxury. Guess I can only wait and see if 800.com will come through with a quality product. If not I'll be shopping again. Similar Products Used: Toshiba 3109 |

Strength:
Great Picture, Outstanding Features, Low Price on last year's model
Weakness:
Speakers This TV is well-worth the price. I picked it up from 800.com when they first went on sale in August, but I wanted to wait a couple of months until until I submitted my comments. The picture is incredible and the long list of features at a killer price makes this a great buy. |
