Strength:
Wonderful Picture
Weakness:
None other than weight, but what do you expect from a tube. Great set. Don't listen to the dumbass that reviewed this who thinks this has a bad tube. I will say it is one of the best 36' inch televisions out there. Make sure to hook it up with the component inputs for the best picture. Similar Products Used: RCA's, Sonys |

This a great T.V. for the price. i paid around $900 for mine. The picture is first rate and the sound is ok, but who uses the speakers on a tv anymore! I really love the componet inputs on this baby, hooked up to my toshiba 2108 DVD player, the picture is awesome. I would recomend this TV to anyone. |

Weakness:
Weight, but that is to be expected with the size of it. My set is connected through the component jacks from my Toshiba SD-4109X DVD player. The picture quality is crisp and the color is vibrant. Grant it, the TV is not easy to lift, but it was easy to set up the picture preferences to my likings. The buttons on the remote are not too crowded which makes it easy to manipulate. For the price of $799 at Costco I couldn't go wrong. Similar Products Used: 27" Phillips |

Strength:
Sharp, high contrast picture
Weakness:
Remote I looked at a lot of tv's and believe this tube has the best direct view aside from the obvious progressive scanned and line doubled units. The tube is a little rounded, but I chose this over the flat sony wega for a couple of reasons. I honestly think the toshiba was sharper, had more contrast, and better darks than the vega. Albeit the vega has nice depth due to its flat screen, this was not worth $1000 more. The component video inputs hooked up to my Denon DVD-2500 look outstanding--brilliant color and sharpness. Even letterboxed widescreen movies look great (a little rounded at the edges). This is a great tv for the price (mine was $850), and will hold me over well until HDTV's become more affordable.
