Inexpensive. This is why I bought it years ago.

First, this is a standard definition TV that will not receive ATSC broadcasts, which is the standard now. Thus, without a converter, you will get no programming from any source. With the converter, you will get an inferior, 480i picture. Secondly, the picture on this model is very soft (lacking in brightness and detail) -- much more so than other TVs of similar size made in this era. Third, you will have to PAY to dispose of this TV through a recycling center. I would not take one of these units now even if it were working and offered to me at no charge.
