If you think you need more thump in your…head trunk….um…more bass for your face…more…well you get the picture, more low end bass in your earbuds. Look no further, Monster Turbine High Performance earbuds should be what you are looking for. PCMag also provides a nice test and compare between the Monster Turbine earbuds and the Beatsâ„¢ by Dr. Dreâ„¢ earbuds. The Turbine give a higher response in the mids to highs but are about on par with the Beatsâ„¢ by Dr. Dreâ„¢ in the bass. This would probably help reduce the ‘I’m underwater’ effect of cutting out all those highs.
PCMag has a review out of these new in-ear speakers. Here is a little snippet, and you can read the rest at PCMag.
Monster’s Turbine High Performance In-Ear Speakers ($179.95 list) is a lightweight pair of earphones that looks as nondescript as the earbuds bundled with your garden-variety MP3 player. The difference? The Turbine sounds much better and packs some seriously deep bass response. Most earphones that attempt to deliver booming bass end up distorting or muddying sound, but Monster keeps things clear. Fans of hip-hop, electronic music, and hard rock are likely to enjoy this pair, but if you’re an audiophile in search of flat, accurate response, look elsewhere. The Turbine is all about the low end.
