Strength:

Quality sound!

Weakness:

Power cord,no direct access to soundfield without the onscreen menu. Remote does not want to learn my DVD player,Sat system and processor gets real hot.

After going back and forth between the 1095 and the 1075 I got the 1075 and saved some cash which was spent on the RSP 1066 pre/pro.Wow! What a difference over my Yamaha RXV 1000. I was skeptical that this would blow away my Yamaha. Was I wrong! The soundstage opened up alot with dynamic affect. Nice clean smooth sound. HT is amazing and 2 ch music as well. I find myself having to turn down the volume. You will not find separates like this for any where near the price of this combo. Clean, detailed, dynamic smooth sound is what you get. Strength:

Build quality, real nice binding posts on the newer versions of this amp.12v trigger.Detachable power cord.

Gobs of power.I use this amp (in silver)to run my center & surround speakers in my 6.1 system.Easily exceeds and receiver based system for dynamic reserves, very smooth and detailed sound. The power is rated at 125watts x5 but it sounds like much more.Killer for Home Theater and music.I run the RSP1066 pre/pro and a RB1080 for the main 2 channels.

Great sound, nice looking and excellent value

I decided to move to separates - had the Yamaha 2090 receiver which did a fine job. Went back in forth over wheather to purchase the 1095 or 1075. I purchased the 1075 and the 1066 processor. The difference was noticable from everyone in the household. Excellent value in my opinion. System includes: Paradigm Reference Line - Studio 60s (main) Studio CC (Center) Studio 20s (Rear) Sunfire True Sub Rotel 1075 amp Rotel 1066 processor Toshiba 6200 DVD

Strength:

-Power to spare (for my system at least). -Runs cool. -Looks great in the equipment rack (I have the silver version).

Weakness:

As stated in many of the other reviews, the power cord is a bit of a wimp.

I had been looking to upgrade to seperates for quite a while. I bought the RMB-1075 as a first step in that direction. When I got the amp home, I hooked it up to the pre-outs on my Denon-3802 using Kimber PBJ's. As soon as I popped in the first DVD, I realized that I was listening to a whole new system. The Denon is a great little receiver, but I guess it just did not have the oomph to properly drive my B&W (CM4 and CM2) speakers. I can't explain the performance using all of the superlatives like "airy", "incredible imaging" etc. that one normally hears. I just know that my system sounds a whole lot better now. I can't imagine what the extra few thousand dollars gets you with other high end amps, but for the money, this amp is a winner. My system: Denon AVR-3802 (as a pre/pro) Rotel RMB-1075 B&W CM series speakers all the way around. M&K MX-700 Subwoofer Pioneer Elite DV-37 run through a Monarchy Audio DIP MKII.

Strength:

plenty of clean power, detail, looks good, price.

Weakness:

didn't want to admit it but the power cord doesn't plug in well in the back.

I have this amp hooked up to a HK AVR510, instantly my system was more dynamic, I had to lower the volume a little bit. The Rotel 1075 sounds nice and clean and plenty of power for my B&W CDM 7's. The HK 510 processing is very good also, but I can't wait to get the Rotel 1066 processor. At this price there's no better amp (sounds better than Sunfire). The new silver and black is great.

Strength:

Sound quality, build quality, looks, price to performance ratio.

Weakness:

Makes you want to get a better pre/pro...

I bought this amp as the first step down the road to separates. Right now I have it hooked up to an h/k AVR 520 as a pre/pro. The h/k's internal amps are decent, but no match for the Rotel. For HT, the Rotel offers a slight improvement over the h/k's amps. Mostly in terms of pure power and loudness, but I can hear better dynamics too. But 2-channel stereo is where the Rotel really shines. If I thought the h/k sounded good before (and it did), it sounds GREAT now. Much better dynamics, soundstage opened up and the overall sound quality improved. If you're looking for a good-quality 5-ch. amp, check this amp out. PS I got the silver-faced RMB-1075, and IMO it looks much better than the all black one

Strength:

-Clarity -Breadth of Sound -Detail at low volume

Weakness:

-What am I missing if I bought into the next level??? Not sure??? However for under $1000, I'm happy as a pig in slop.

What a difference. Came from Yamaha 2092. I was a bit pessimitic that power would make such a difference. Boy was I surprised. The whole soundstage opened up with the surrounds being the biggest change. While this is my first entry into separates, I'm a big fan. Also went to bi-wiring on my B&W's, big difference!!!

none really, it hurt to dish out over 900 bucks but hey, thats the territory

What can I say that hasn't been said, this thing is pure butter.I was ready to give up on my modest Klipsch system because of excessive brightness.I wondered if my Yamaha RXV1000 could be to blame and so I bought this amp.The Yamaha was the problem .There is no looking back,I'm satisified in every way....pure butter you won't be sorry System: Klipsch RF3,RC3,RS3 and SVS pci 20-39 Rotel RMB 1075 and so the Rotel controler

Strength:

Great performance/bargain price.

Weakness:

Cheap power cord

Just recently upgraded from a Yamaha RXV 795 receiver. I did the customary "burn-in" as the dealer suggested. I am very happy with the performance gains that am now experiencing in my system even as the amp was new just out of the box. Every day it still improves the music and movies. Very honest amp though, it exposes the strengths/weaknesses of both the media and the source components you use. Well recorded CD's are an extreme joy to listen to, as well as the great DD/DTS tracks from movies really enhance your home theater experience. I guess it's time to upgrade to an RSP 1066 pre/pro to complete the experience!
