The bottom line this is just a fantastic receiver and is very under rated is really packs a big punch for the money.
Nobody could every go wrong purchasing one of these great receivers it sound awesome and can give receiver with twice the power a run for their money! Thanks Onkyo!

This thing is awesome!! I bought it open box for $169.00, and it was the best $169 i ever spent!! Talk about getting your moneys worth!! I compared this to a top of the line Kenwood, and it made the kenwood sound like crap!! As well as most other recievers, in any price range!! Great Product!!

This is a very powerful and clean sounding receiver, with a good built-in AM/FM tuner. (I would suggest however, that one go to Radio Shack and pick up their $11.00 indoor FM antenna for even better reception).

It is very easy to hook up a CD player and casette tape deck to this unit. When you are done, there is virtually zero noise from the CD player, even at high volume. You really get the impression that this thing would blow apart the neighborhood if you cranked the volume control up too far. All the while, the sound is pure and clean.

I am 100% satisfied with this receiver. (I also suspect that one with limited room could set up a great two speaker home theater system with this unit and a decent VCR).
