Strength:
Outstanding Cables, Transparancy, High resolution iterconects, Low bass extension, detail.
Weakness:
NONE, ZERO... I was very very shocked to here the AQ Anacomda for the first time. They look scary but they sound incredible!!! I'm using 1.0M and 0.5M (xlr), they took me one month and few weeks to break in this cables, but it was worth it, they Blow me away!!! Very detail in the treble, scary mid bass, low bass extension, very fast, clarity , Huge performance, I mean the music is all there,Incredible cables! If you are looking for interconnect under $1000, I would strongly |

Strength:
Transparancy, Low level detail, high resolution retreival interconects. Low bass extension. CDs are more " A Live"
Weakness:
None The Audioquest Diamonds was the king of interconnects. I was shocked to hear the Anacondas is a giant leap for Audioquest in achieving a higher level performance. This is a major break through for Audioquest! Truly amazing interconnects. The music is more of "you are there". The interconnects doesn't add any color to the signal. Sometimes I feel my preamp, amps and DAC are connected via wireless. The Anaconda are expensive but they are worth it. The Diamonds lacks tranparancy, dynamics, clarity, low bass extension in comparison to the Anacondas. Similar Products Used: Audioquest Diamonds, Audioquest Lapis, Cardas Golden Cross. |

Weakness:
Stiff, lengthy break-in period. I am using both balanced and single-ended versions in my system. I think that the balanced are slightly better, but in each case, the incremental benefits over all other cables I have used is significant - probably more of a revolutionary change as opposed to all other changes which have been much more evolutionary. As others have stated, it really doesn't have much of a "sound" of its own and seems to let the music through unimpeded. Similar Products Used: Various AudioQuest and Kimber products |

Strength:
It doesn't seem to do anything, which is good.
Weakness:
Cost After trying out a good number of the cables in this price range I decided to go one up from the Python to the real high-end of the new AQ cables. I wasn't dissappointed, especially in the treble region. However, the biggest improvement seems to be less: Less overhang, less distortion, less of everything that isn't music. These just simply seem to be extremely neutral interconnects across the whole frequency band. Overall a really superb interconnect. Let's hope technology moves the prices of cables at this performance level down towards something more affordable.
