Strength:

neutrality, detail at this price

Weakness:

lacks ultimate dynamic speed and stage size

I have to add to the other reviews and emphasize the need of breakin time with these cables. The pbj sound hard and dry out of the box. However, after three weeks of regular use, these cables sound truly high-end with good harmonic accuracy and seperation.

Strength:

Clarity, especially in the midrange.

Weakness:

Slight brightness.

I am using the paradigm Active/20 speakers with an Arcam 8se cd player. I have found these interconnects are an exceptional value AND aound great too. Bass is nicely defined and midrange is more open than audioquest's coral(new) that was loaned to me by the local audio dealer. Albeit maybe the coral's are not broken in yet. Wonder what Jimmy and G. Wendsuc would think of this setup.
The rca output from the Arcam is plugged staight into the active/20's.*NO PREAMP*
Sounds delicious to me and by the way the soundstage is clearly defined as well.
Great value which is probably why they sell so well.
