To sum up, my odd custom set of 4m and 8 m AlphaCore Goertz MI-2 makes my speakers deliver a 3D depth and potense I did not think was possible with my 10 years old B&W's. Impressive indeed! http://www.alphacore.com/goertz.htm |

These cables are fabulous! A worthwhile upgrade from standard $5/m cables...........detail...lots if it.......bass.....quite good........ It's imagery is very good for the price....i heard it in a shop with 15k worth of equipment.....and it never sounded out of it's class....... only worry..is the cable may "kink"...thus grading sonic quality........a thus a little care is needed! also check out it's smaller brother the M1 ...perfect for a buget sysem... |

I have tried many speaker cables in my system (ie Kimber 8TC, 4TC, Cardas hex Link, Monster cables, MIT's ) and found the MI2 to be the best. What amazes me in these cables is the speed, clarity has bass response. very transperent.Havent tried the MI3's but I was not too impressed with their MI1's. |

Tried it and hated it so bad that I went to my audio dealer instantly to returned it.Perhaps it's big brother won't dissapoint me that much. Buy better and more expensive cables you will not regret it. Just don't pay too much because garbage in garbage out for most better cables so pay attention to your equipment also. I am sorry I just have to give 1 star ... :( |

These cables sound great in my system, much better than Audioquest or MIT. |

After spending 25+ years as an audiophile; owning more gear than most people ever dream about, it never ceases to amaze me at the number of people who attempt to simply justify their choice of components. I have recently assembled the latest, greatest equipment available that suites my tastes..but it took me a very long time and alot of money to find the correct synergy of components. The biggest problem is that most reviews are flawed, biased or do not consider the totality of a system and the various interactions that may take place between components! With this in mind, I am compelled to mention to anyone with an open mind and a love of music must try the Alpha-Core Geortz interconnects and speaker cables throughout their systems. These products are a quantum leap forward in cabling design and performance..you will be stunned!!!The equivelant impact is like replacing a sony $160 CD player with $30,000 worth of a Mark Levinson transport $ DAC(or going from 44/16 to the 96/24 standard)! You HAVE NOT heard your components until you use these cables in your system. Then again, most people probably will be afraid of hearing what their components can do...they may be unhappy with their choices!! |

Strength:
Definition, definition, definition
Weakness:
Unforgiving I did my speaker cable research on this and other review sites. I even heard from some AudioReview members who recommended the wire. It is not inexpensive, but does not seem overpriced compared to other manufacturer's product. But the cost is justified. I can think of no other $300 investment in componentry that will bring about this much pleasing sound. Similar Products Used: Monster cable, Nordost Superflatline |

These speaker cables are GREAT. Klipsch La Scalas bi-wired, the music breathes.Very good value too. The triode quartz interconnects are excellent also. |

I switched from standard Monster speaker cables to the Goertz MI-2 coppers last year and was amazed at the improved clairity, sense of air, speed, accurate bass, and image focus (custom 12 ft lengths). I haven't compared to other cables (except the Monsters), but some friends have and find this cable one of the best and certainly the BEST VALUE in speaker cable around for an accurate cable. My graduate physics study of transmission line systems also lends strong support to this flat parallel design as the lowest characteristic impedance on the market (possibly explaining why it sounds so clean and fast). They also use very good connectors. Strongly recommended as a highly neutral, clean, and accurate sounding cable! |

I just got the cable a week ago, here is what I thought so far:1. It gives more details. A LOT MORE than from other cables, you can say it gives more details just like Kimble cable. |
