Strength:

Transparent. Good bass. At home in expensive system

Weakness:

green cable color is ugly.

Just wanted to note that these are very good cables for the money. Price I posted is $50.00/ft for 6 ft external bi-wire less 20% discount given at UpScale Audio.
I actually bought 13 foot with special larger spades for Musical Fidelity A3 power amp. This was handled with no hassle and no extra cost by Kevin. I heard spades give better connection than RCA / banana plugs.
Reading the reviews, I could not find anything that was better for the money I had to spend so I did not see much other options.
Some people say Nautilus are lacking bass but with these cables sounds good to me, letting the fine detail pass through.

System:
Musical Fidelity A3 power
Cary 303 CD player with volume control
Nautilus 804
Q10 speaker cable with Air matrix interconnects.

Strength:

Exceptional clarity.
Excellent price.

Weakness:

Cable is not very flexible.

DH Labs, without a doubt, produces the best engineered interconnects on the planet.
I have recently fabricated speaker cables for my system using DH Labs Q-10 high resolution speaker wire. The improvement in the sound was immediate and desireable.
The Q-10 clarifies and increases the spacial imaging of the audio spectrum. The improvement in the sound stage and three dimensionality must be heard to be believed.
This wire can be purchased in bulk from DH labs (www.silversoinc.com). This is great for the D-I-Y folks. The wire takes a bit of getting used to upon making terminations. But you'll save a boatload if you make your own wires.
The one draw back of this wire is that it is very stiff and measurements to determine lenghts should take this into consideration.

Strength:

Fast transients, neutral, great bass, sweet highs, big soundstage.

Weakness:

None except that they lack the "macho" look of the more expensive competition

I replaced a very expensive set of cables with the Q10 because I needed longer cables (14') to hide the power amp in the corner of the living room (wife issues). I was expecting the Q10 to be adequet and liveable for a while or until finances permitted the purchase of "real" cables and certainly did not expect them to perform as well as the cables I replaced. Right out of the box, I was blown away and I can honestly say that they outperformed the high priced cables in every aspect. As they are breaking in they are sounding even better each day. IMHO, DH Labs products represent an incredible value in high end audio. I've recently decided that the audiophile cable industry as typified by the big names we all are familiar with is a ripoff. It is refreshing to see a company like DH Labs offer such an excellent product at a fair price. I wish them great success and would like to be in on the IPO. Anyone contemplating the purchase of cables should consider DH Labs products a "no brainer". I recently ordered DH Labs Air Matrix interconnects for the preamp to power amp and CD player to preamp interfaces and a review will follow. Kudos also to Jeff Dahlman at Value Audio in Santa Cruz, CA for providing outstanding customer service. My only desire is for DH Labs to broaden their product line to include power cords and phono cables.

My system consists of:

Avalon Arcus
BAT VK 200
BAT VK 3i with Phono
BAT VK D5 CD Player
JA Michell Gyro SE
SME 309
Benz L2
Harmonic Technology power cords

Strength:

As others have noted; very linear and extended top to bottom, open and clear, no discernable grain, very low distortion, excellent PRAT (pace, rythem, and timing), refreshing value

Weakness:

At the price the Q-10 is very good, however, it may be a tad lean in some systems

I've spent the last 21/2 months trying to find a 'good' bi-wired cable (at a reasonable cost) to hook up my Aerial LR3s/CC3B HT fronts with. IMO the Aerials need a linear and open sounding cable, with no bass bloat, open mids, and extended, but smooth treble. This is what the Q-10s give me. As an added bonus the Q-10s provide excellent transient speed with minimal smearing. Prior to the Q-10s I tried LAT's best bi-wire cable, same internal bi-wired configuration. I wanted to like the LATs but they sounded flat, and to laid back with the Aerials. I also listened to Audioquest Granite, better then the LATs in some ways, but to pricey for their performance.

I bought a 12' pr and a 8' 1/2 pr from Jeff at Value Audio. I'd recommend him highly, as others have. Jeff will custom terminate your Q-10s anyway you want, and his terminations are of high quality.

Strength:

Very clean signal, internal bi-wire, can be connected as a single 10 awg wire.

Weakness:

Long time to break in, very stiff 12 awg wire. Difficult to bend(it could be a good time)

Bought this in bulk, this cable is both a pair of 14 awg and 12 awg cables combined in a swirl covered with a thick jacket. Also designed with a very thick silver coating on each wire strand and a tight teflon coating.

I immediately noticed a very clean and linear signal after the wire settled down from about 100+ hours of use. The bass became tighter and deeper more than ever before, and IMO my speakers sound louder at the same volume level when compared with the 12 awg Monster stuff. It also allows more detail and no distortion on my 10 foot runs. Everything from top to bottom is much better and the highs are also notable faster and more relaxed with smoother and crystal clear tones.

This cable is well suited to Rotel and B&W gear.

Strength:

Simply put, the Q10 is a superb product.

Weakness:

None.

I ordered the Q10's for my mains and some Silver Sonic interconnects about a month/six weeks ago from Jeff Dellman at Value Audio and I couldn't be happier. To my ears, the Q10's represent, by far, the best value and performance of any reasonably priced cables on the market. The Q10's favorably compare and/or beat many of those outrageously priced cables you can find in your high end audio shops, i.e. cables costing two to three times as much as the Q10's. I've always let my ears, as opposed to my ego, decide whats best for me, and the DH Labs Q10's represent the best value and performance for the dollar thats out there.

One last item. I highly recommend Jeff Dellman and Value Audio. Jeff is a businessman and audiophile from the old school. Someone who takes the time to talk with you about your system and your expectations, and in todays world its rare when you run across someone like Jeff. So if you're shopping for cables you won't find many, if any, better than the Q10's, and you can certainly travel many miles before coming across someone with the expertise and patience of Jeff Dellman and Value Audio. Check 'em out!

Strength:

Great new product. Open, Clear and Neutral performance
right out of the box. Exceptional performance on low end!!

Weakness:

Big Size. I was personally a fan of the smaller T-14, but the Q-10 is still a very attractive cable.

DH LABS fans, get ready for a pleasant surprise. The Q-10
Speaker Cable is a noticable uprgrade from the T-14, at
a still amazingly affordable price (about twice the $$$). It is a four conductor cable that can be internally bi-wired
(much neater than running two wires side by side).
There are two 14 gauge conductors and two 12 gauge for the
bottom end. What I noticed is an immediate improvement
in the bass response of my system, and the wire is not
even broken in yet. NICE JOB DH!!!!!

Strength:

sound, construction, cost

Q-10 is excellent cable, regardless of the price. Taking the price into account, it really is an amazing value. I purchased an 8' pair and a center channel cable from Jeff at Value Audio -- all with the internal biwire configuration and with bananas on the amp end and spades on the speaker end. I couldn't be happier with the sound, with the construction of the cables, and with the service from Value Audio. BTW, my system (at least speakers and receiver) is often considered fairly revealing (read: bright) and there is no problem with this cable in it. It sounds great. My wife has even commented on it (favorably!).

Superb imaging. Low's and high's are exceptional for a cable in this price range. ($15 Canadian per ft.)

I have hooked it up on my friends system

Weakness:

None unless you compare to cables at three times the price.

Superb imaging. Low's and high's are exceptional for a cable in this price range. ($15 Canadian per ft.)

My musical tastes vary from classical to rock; the sheer separation of instruments and the details on various pieces of music was just astonishing.

Outstanding Speaker Cables purchased from a terrific dealer. (Classic Hi Fi)
