I have had mine for one year and experienced every single problem the rest of the people on here have. Hey what can you expect with a 90 day warranty. What a piece of junk. Don't be fooled by the price. The extra investment is worth it.

I am surprised that this product has had all these bad reviews, for a 1st time dvd I have zero problems with it, and easily played over 250 dvds on it with no issues. I would recommend this player to anyone who has no dvd experience!

machine broke after 7months used, and because didn't take out extended warrantee no one wants it back. may have used the dvd 8 to 9 times. brought back to best buy, who advised me manufactor problem

Same as others are saying, the warranty ran out and TA DA!! I am having only one problem so far, it occasionally refuses to read the DVD's. I found if I hit it (NOT TOO HARD) on top it will give in and play. I am checking it for Anthrax hoping these towel heads didn't REALLY screw with us Americans!!

Broke it out of the box, didn't work. Had it replaced, worked for three months untill warranty was up, wouldn't replace.

Dies the day after warranty expires

They got a GREAT programmer who wrote the code to die the day after warranty expires......now that iv'e seen thier webpage......it's made buy some raghead from India....if you haven't already been burned for your money...DON'T GIVE IT TO THEM !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hate it.

This one has been used to play mostly VCDs. The unit will play only pictures that moves slowly, when it dses want to play. That is a big problem, since it shows all the foreplay slow scenes and skips through the real action where lots of movements are involved. It jumps through to to the next foreplay and so on and on. Occationally the VCD would play through almost entirely, and that would make it a good week. Most of the time it gets one up but no more. Damm! Havent had the other problems people have posted here. I wonder if it is the difference between DVD and VCD.

I have 4 dvd players in my house. I use them all to a good degree...especailly during the summer, when i watch A LOT of movies.....and...also.....i have watched my entire dvd collection on this machine (that's 316 dvds) and i have only encountered one problem ever.....it will not read Disney's Dinosaur.....that's the only problem...it reads everything else fine.....including the toy story collection....i have been using it with one of my kenwood digital surround recievers and it has never failed me yet and its about to go on two years of use this january....but i do believe every1 else who has had problems with this machine because a friend of mine has had the exact same problems.....so i will tell you to be careful if deciding to purchass this player.....and pry you have as much luck as i've had with it.......email me at cobock1@msn.com if you have any questions regarding this machine.
