Audio Enthusiast
Strength:
Great picture, sound, Lots of options, small design, pretty quiet player
Weakness:
some trouble with wma cd, playback of an SVCD on a CDR was weird, Wish it had screen saver when playing audio only cd. This is a pretty good unit. I have had problems getting it to read all of the directories on a dic full of WMA files, but that is about it. It is fast to switch audio inputs, subtitles, menus, etc. no more waiting after you push a button. It reads dvd's flawlessly, And like the other review said the enhancements are nice and available on the fly to adjust what you do or don't need. Similar Products Used: JVC DVD 501BK |

Audio Enthusiast
Strength:
Flexible, lots of features, quiet mechanism, fast loading, fairly slim, very good picture.
Weakness:
It does not have coax output, only optical. I have two of these units. I have them since july and so far I haven't had any problems. I like this player for the following reasons: 1) It is fairly slim. 2) It has a quiet mechanism and the loading of a disk if pretty quick. 3) It has many features to improve the video and audio which are accessible on the fly and can be programmed at the push of a button. 4) The previously mentioned features are also accessible from the front panel of the unit. 5) The remote is small, fits the hand well and it has all the needed buttons arranged in a decent manner. Overall for $120 dollars is an excellent purchase. Customer Service none |
