Strength:
Clean, clear, deep, accurate, smooth "voice", perfect match for smaller B&W or other more "restrained" or New England/Olde England speakers, and especially the DM600s. Gonna try 'em with a pair of the DM302s they were made to go with back in the day and see if it's better, worse, or the same. It's all good, though.
Weakness:
For anywhere under $200, if cosmetically perfect, there simply ARE no weaknesses, except, of course, bass. Use a good powered sub! Well at last! These things are getting harder to find and I kept getting sniped out of some really high-priced deals at the last second, but vigilance finally paid off. These little guys are going for almost as much as they did new, and it's no wonder! Not only are they physically beautiful, but I have auditioned the LCR-6S3s and this little bitty thang blows the doors off it's bigger, younger cousin! My lord! What's going on here? Vocally perfect match with the DM600 S3s up front, the dialogue moves around seamlessly, with great clarity, depth, and an uncanny lifelike quality that sometimes makes me feel like I'm having some sort of "spell" or something - but it's GOOD! They are very sweet, and of course they are not gonna give you much in the way of bass - they were created for tight spaces like I have to work with, and I was finally able to divest myself of the 12-year old DCM CX Center, which acquitted itself well enough, but was not well-matched to the DM 600s and was starting to really annoy me (it would work well with JBLs for instance, but not the B&Ws). This thing is exquisite looking, exquisite sounding, and if they still made them I'd have had to pay around $300 for one now (they were $200 apiece, I think, when brand new). Whatever the price, they are everybody's fave all of a sudden and they are getting snapped up like free Rolexs. Strength:
Small, nice looks, inexpensive, B&W, value for money
Weakness:
Bass Of course, I bought it second hand. But being in love with B&W I knew what to look for. I agree with most of you that this is a great performing Baby.. nice, sleek looking and enough power for a Audio enthousiast.. Can immagine that an Audiophile wants more... short on base, but compensated this with my left/right Using it with a DENON AVR 3800 reciever, and a DENON DVD player. Left and right are B&W speakers as well Similar Products Used: none |

Strength:
Great frequency response - - clear, un-muddied sound. Nice design
Weakness:
None A fantastic center channel speaker. I feel that this little wonder really brings the center channel to life! A perfect voice-match for any B&W DM product. I paid $175 for this beauty and feel that at four times the price I couldn't have a better speaker. Highly recommended. |

Strength:
Crystal clear sound, B&W brand, low price
Weakness:
Not enough bass coming out of these little speakers. But that's expected because of its size. Bought these as my first center speaker and am not disappointed with the quality and price. For a B&W speaker, at this low price of $180, how can you lose? |

Strength:
B&W quality, clear and precise, awesome throughout its frequency range.
Weakness:
Lacking some bass at the low end, but that is due to the size of the woofers and not any problem with build quality. I finally finished getting a full 5.1 setup, and this was my center channel. Definitely the best I heard, and blew away many others in the same price range and higher! Excellent clarity, can be played at quite high levels without distortion, does what it's intended to do with the best. I auditioned many other speakers in the same price range and they all paled in comparison: too muddy, too boomy, etc. This speaker excels in all areas and that's what makes it a winner. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who asked. If you've been looking at Energy's, JBL's, or PSB's, or anything in that kind of range, don't waste your time and money. Strength:
Wonderful complement to a complete home theater system. Crystal clear sound that immediately gets your attention.
Weakness:
None so far After years of waiting, I finally put my home theater together and believe the CC3 is the real deal. I teamed it up with B&W 601s for the front and a pair of Phase Technology Teatro ATS-3s for surround with a Polk Audio PSW 100 subwoofer. They are driven by an Onkyo DS575. Not only does the CC3 give you true sound focus as a theater unit but it also has a crystal, clean sound when playing music on the system. I have DirecTV which offers free concerts each month and the first thing I heard on the system was a Peter Frampton concert. Unbelievable sound. But then, I'm partial to B&W, I've had the 601s for a couple of years. And believe in their quality so much that I drove 75 miles when I was ready to step up to home theater to the only dealer in the state that sells them to match them up. We were able to do just that and get far more quality than the price would suggest. |

Strength:
excellent sound for the price
Weakness:
have not found any This is my first center channel. I figured that I would step up to a more expensive CC later, but I don't see the need to. Voices sound clear and well placed. It just sounds so natural. Since I have a sub, I have all my speakers set on small. In my opinion you could spend a couple hundred dollars more and still not have a better center channel. Oops!!! I am so used to writing bad bose reviews that I accidently gave 1 star on my last review. Anyone reading the previous review take note, I had full intention of giving 5 stars for both catagories. Sorry guys!!! |

Small Price, high performance!
Weakness:
none for the moment For the price I payed the sound is astounding. The dialogues are very clear. The bass are not so good compared with other, and bigger, center, but for the price is a bargain. Similar Products Used: technics |

Strength:
GREAT with a pair of 302's
Weakness:
Smaller size limits capability. If you have a pair of 302's and want to make a leap into Home Theater, get yourself one of these. No complaints at all. Perfect timber matching. Similar Products Used: B&W 302's |
