Strength:
I like the size
Weakness:
none I can think of I have been using this speaker for about 3 months. I replaced a Klipsch SC1 for the BIC. I still like the sound of the Klipsch but this speaker is warmer and tends to blend in nicely with the front sound stage. I will be looking into the bookshelf speakers from the same line. Very nice sounding center speaker. Highly recomended. Similar Products Used: Klipsch JBL |

Strength:
crisp, clean, crystal clea sound
Weakness:
big I am very pleased with the performance of this speaker. The movies I play sound crisp and crystal clear both for DVD's and VHS. I was very careful in choosing a center speaker because I read from many different sources how important the center speaker is to the home theater system. The center speaker reproduces 50% or more of a movie's dialogue. You will not be dissappointed with this speaker's performance. For the price this is a steal!! Look around on the internet before you purchase the speaker to get the best deal. A highly recommend purchasing this speaker for your home entertainment system. If you want, you could pay much, much more for a center speaker that might outperform this one, but I doubt. If you play the more expensive center next to the DV62CLR you'll probably won't hear much of a difference. So if you want to shell out the cash be my guest, but if your looking for a great value go with this. |

Strength:
warm sound
Weakness:
none I have the Klipsch sc1 center speaker now and I thought it was the best in the price range of 250. I still like the Klipsch but After finding the BIC for 200. I had to audition it. I was going back and forth between the two speakers and I believe I will be taking the Klipsch back. Every time I would swithch back to the Klipsch, I would feel like there was something missing and end up going back to the BIC. This speaker may not be audiophile quality, but for the price of 200 bucks, I believe I now have found the very best for the money. Worth a listen. Similar Products Used: Klipsch |

Strength:
Clean, crisp, wide mid-range sound. Well-shielded;I have it
Weakness:
Very deep, front-to-rear (About 11"), but enough weight is toward the front that it is quite stable on top of a TV that supports less than the front 1/2 of the speaker. Like the preceeding reviewer, I bought the speaker on the strength of other reviews on this site, and I am not disappointed. One person, far down this list of reviews, mentioned an interaction between his TV's color guns and this speaker, but I'm showing no such interaction after 1.5 months of the speaker's sitting on my Sony 27". This speaker was on backorder when I ordered it in late November, and I didn't receive it until the first week in January. I'm glad I waited. I had been using my Yamaha Surround amplifier's ability to simulate the presence of a center speaker, and, while it wasn't bad, the real thing is amazingly better. This is my first attempt at creating a decent surround home theatre environment, and I thank all the reviewers on this site that helped enable the success of my venture. Similar Products Used: None |

Strength:
Great sound! Clear highs, mids, and bass.
Weakness:
Is quite large, but you get used to it... Got this baby from uBid for $82 plus s&h. Once I got it out of the box, I thought it was going to be too big. I have a 32 inch Zenith and it barely fits on top. but you do get used to the large size and the sound is well worth it. |

Strength:
Strong, clear vocals. Rich sound. Banana plugs.
Weakness:
I would say too big, but it fits perfectly on top of my Toshiba bigsreen. Simply awesome, especially given that I paid 160 bucks (Ubid). Though big, it makes up for that with terrific, crisp sound. Similar Products Used: BIC DV52 center |
