Wow! You guys were right! I picked up a floor model, but the cover had a tear in it. Called Boston, they offered to send me a replacement - FREE! Wouldn't even let me pay the shipping. This is a GREAT speaker, if you can still find one - buy it today!

This is an incredible speaker. It blows away its competion. This center channel is clear, crisp, and powerful. Fantastic for those who love to watch movies in 5.1. Boston did a bad thing when they downgraded to the VR920 and raised the priced $200. DUMB!! However, if you still have the oportunity to pick up a VR12 DO IT!!

It's huuuuuge.....

Got this unit on closeout for 239.99 US! This thing is big, but it puts out! Crisp, clear and powerful soundstage. Nothing, and I mean NOTHING, can touch this for under $300.00.

Just make sure your TV is at least a 32" or you will have put it on it's own stand.

Run down to your local Boston dealer and see if you can get one on closeout. They are getting hard to find, so you better hurry.

If you want vocals that are clean and bass that is tight and punchy the VR-12 center is the speaker!

not big enough

I got this with my system because the dealer only had VR12s and the only VR10 was the floor model so for like $100 or somthing I got this, I had no idea how big it was , this is a big MoFo'n Speaker my friend, But it produces big sound it can take all my movies and just can not let you down, great base and all around sound, in face off I could hear the gun go off frum Righ t necter left and sounded all the same, This speaker matcehs my 9653 very well, I love this speaker

Heavy as h**l. Can this cause my 50" Toshiba to sag?

I wanted a reasonably close sound match to my 1985 build, Boston Series II A150's. The V12 is great. No complaints except I paid too much from the local dealer ($400), since I could not find them on-line over a year ago.

P.S. Bose should be ashamed of that squatty little center channel. It reeks !!

I bought this center speker to replace my PSB 8C speaker,PSB is not a bad speaker for me.Till I hear the Boston Acoustics VR12 ;I know what I have been missing is the vocals and on-screen effects are so natural with VR12.The sound is tight,clean and smooth.Highly recommanded.

This center channel is awesome! It really makes everything sound better. I got mine on clearance a few months ago fo $250. That is a great deal if you can still find one. Would highly recommend this speaker!

Bought after a ton of research and found it really does not live up to reviews, my old sound dynamics is far better quality, and much better sound, poor highs, very garbled lows, not a high quality speaker, buying name I think, Energy/Polk much better.
