Strength:
Gives dialogue very defining characteristics, clarity, size. Small in stature, but big in sound. Goes well with my RS-2's
Weakness:
Probably not the fullest sounding center channel on the market, but for $119 it will do fine. The Yamaha 5150 and Rs-2's sound better than the entire JVC Home theater in a box set up. Now I've got the RS-2's and the CC1. They go well together and I'm sure my system will be very enjoyable when I am done. Similar Products Used: JVC home theater in a box stuff. I returned all of the JVC stuff and got the Yamaha HTR 5150. |

Strength:
Clear, crisp highs
Weakness:
Not a lot of power. Priced too high. Great center channel speaker for both music and movies. It's distortion free with clear, crisp highs and great for voice on movies. I have a decent home theatre system with various makes and models of equipment and decided on the cc1 as a great compliment to my present system. I'm sure there is better out there but for my small living room and arrangement this speaker is perfect. Similar Products Used: none |

Weakness:
low end bass I was previously using a single speaker for my center channel while I waited to get a center. I am amazed at how much better movies sound with a dedicated center. The way it pulls me right into the center of the movie. The CC1 is matched to 4 RS2(2 front, 2 rear) an Infinity BU150 sub. All powered through an Onkyo 484 with Dolby digital and DTS decoding, while watched on a Hitachi 53SBX rear projection TV( which I recommend to everyone ) I do not hear the hollowness that some of the reviewers talk about. I have what I see catagorized as a enrty level HT. I have heard many other HT set ups that cost 2x as much and dont compare to the sound I get for ~1200.00. I think its all how you match your components. Speakers espescially. As far as some of these audiophiles, I think its time for a hearing test! Similar Products Used: none |

Strength:
GOOD SOUND, GOOD CONSTRUCTION, GOOD PRICE
Weakness:
THEY'LL SELL 'EM TO ANYBODY,,, JUST READ THE REVIEWS ! Ok, Let me start by saying Im not a self professed audiophile, Im a musician, and have been for over 25 years, ... that means TWO things,,, #1 .. I know a LITTLE about what I think sound should do, and # 2 ... Im used to getting the most out of a pretty tight budget |

Strength:
Great value & very crisp highs.
Weakness:
none so far I purchased this speaker after returning the bose vcs-10 center speaker. The infinity cc-1 is a great sounding speaker with very crisp highs. For the money, and an entry-level ht system, I think this is one of the best sounding center speakers on the market. |

Strength:
great speaker all around
Weakness:
bass but a sub woofer fix that i owned one for 2 months--on top of a sony wega 36 in tv--wanted bigger soundstage--so i went to ubid and bought another-- they are all i could ask for!--2 side by side wired in series--try it -you wont be sorry--beats all the higher priced single speakers--my mains are infinity rses--and they blend superb with the qps 1 rears in my 14x16in room with a sub woofer--you NEED a subwoofer trust me on any ht system Similar Products Used: none |

I tried the CC1 out for a few weeks, and didn't think the speakers sounded that much better than my TV stereo speakers. I returned them, and bought the CC2 for from netmarket for about what the CC1 cost me at Circuit City. I now understand how important the front center speaker is - the CC2 sound is so much better than the CC1. I'd definitely spring for the extra money. If you need to save money, save on the rear channel, or hold off purchasing a sub-woofer. The CC2 also a very useful control that lets you balance the sound between your front speakers and the center speaker. By the way, I got the QPS-1 for the rear channels. They sound really good, but you cound probably get a lesser speaker and be OK for a low-to-medium priced system. |

I think the CC1 is great for the price. I got mine for $75.00, it does its job with my RS3 for fronts and RS1 for rears it blends well. I give it 5 stars |
