Strength:
very natural sounds with litlle to no distortion at higher levels of listening.
Weakness:
larger speaker housing may make it a bit hard to find a home if you have an entertainment center that has an enclosed area. Very good overall, worth the money. great sounds. |

Clarity
Weakness:
Can get a little bright at times Well, I have used this product for about 6 months and one thing is abundantly clear, this speaker will never get overpowered by any of your other speakers. Dialog is loud and clear, sometimes I wish this center had a little bit more midrange/bass to balance how high the horn can hit. Overall this is a execellent speaker and a damn good value. I am very pleased with all my Klipsch products. They blend together seamlessly. |

Strength:
Great sound.
Weakness:
None I bought the Klipsch center to replace the yamaha. The sound is much clearer and much more crisp. I have heard better center channels when I was auditioning speakers but the price I found on this made it by far the best value I found. I've fiound that the Klipsch line of speakers are great for those of us who want a good sound but aren't willing to "break the bank" to acheive it. http://www.acounsticsounddesign.com has an excellent price on Klipsch speakers. Highly recommend the speakers and the site. Similar Products Used: Yamaha NSAC40X |

Strength:
Excellent sound for dialogue in movies, solid for music, nice construction (very solid)
Weakness:
none noticed After purchasing the Klipsch SF-1 fronts, I found my Infinity center being overwhelmed by the. I went back to the store and bought this center. I am a big fan of Klipsch speakers and love the power of them. It took me a bit to tweak my Onkyo receiver to take full advantage of the center, but once I finished it the sound was clear and very smooth. Similar Products Used: Infinity, Bose |

Strength:
Excellent voice reproduction, stylish,
Weakness:
A little Bright at times A great center channel speaker for the money. It has the distinctive bright clean and clear Klipsch sound, so it is best to pair it with other Klipsch speakers for a natural(timbre matched) effect. Immediately after hooking it up I had to reconfigure my surround speaker settings and volume levels. Some times with the Infinity and Bose AM-5 setup I could not clearly make out the dialogue. The SC-1 easily solved that problem. I picked up the SC-1 and a pair of SB-2 bookshelf speakers at an excellent price from www.unclestereo.com, and yes they are an authorized dealer. This setup combined with the KSB-12 sub I have setting in the corner, give the best entry level home theatre setup imaginable. I could not take down my Bose speakers fast enough. Strength:
For the money, one great center.
Weakness:
Male voice sounds weak, too small to fill a large room with center dispersion. Perhaps I am about to be too harsh on this center. The bottom line is that for the money, this is one hell of a speaker. I just "upgraded" my klipsch center to a def tech 2500 center. The difference is this: 500 dollars more. A powered sub in my center (wow), large expansion space, tri-wiring ability (if your into that) and the ability to hear deep bass from male voices... GLADIATOR!!! So what am I trying to say? The klipch has been moved up to my bedroom. This is not necessarily a bad thing. I love it. This speaker has the ability to blend with different speakers and sound like it belongs. If you are a fan of horns, then you will love this speaker. However... if you REALLY love horns, look at the Klipsch reference center. For 100 more you can get a much better center. If you are serious about music and home theater, look at the def tech. I know it costs much more, but you get what you pay for. 2nd bottom line... the klipsch center is a great buy, however, I would suggest saving a little more and getting a real speaker... AKA the Klipsch reference, or def Tech anything. Similar Products Used: Def Tech 2500 series, B&W. |

Strength:
Incredible sound, quality construction
Weakness:
Price! I bought two Klipsch KSB 1.1's off Ubid for $60 each and really liked them. A few weeks later I couldn't resist buying some KSB 2.1's for the same price. Suddenly my cheap Bic center had to go. I waited for three months but couldn't find a Klipsch center at Ubid, so I bit the bullet and shelled out $250 at my local stereo shop. Sure enough, a month later, SCC1's (previous model) started selling on Ubid for $150 and less. Doh! Similar Products Used: cheap Bic center |

Strength:
Compact foot print, smooth, clear precise sound. Amazing amounts of bass for its size. Metal screens a nice touch.
Weakness:
Wire posts hard to adjust and they should be able to take banana plugs but can't. Confused by multitude of Klipsch centers. Very happy with this product. I was worried in that there are so many similarly named Klipsch center channels that I would find one that matched my mains but it worked out okay. Tried the Perfect Storm last night and it worked flawlessly with my system. Amazing sound. Good price too. Came factory boxed and good to go. Excellent product for its price and size. Strength:
I can clearly understand the dialouge without cranking up the volume.
Weakness:
Size maybe. This is what I had in mind when I decided to build a HT system. I can clearly hear the dialouge while keeping it at the same level as my other speakers. Similar Products Used: Technics cheapie |
