Strength:

Solid, quality construction; full and detailed sound

Weakness:

none.

Wasn't in the market to replace my prior center channel until I went stereo shopping with a friend. After listening to a half-dozen mid-fi models and reading the reviews, I found that the cc-350 was the best pick.

The dynamic range, accuracy, and detail are excellent. Dialogue is very intelligible in almost all circumstances. I have not heard a better center speaker in the under $600 category. It is especially good on the higher octaves, without being earbleeder.

I got a great deal for this sub and I am think that it may be worth a lot more. It is certainly better than Klipsch, Infinity, etc. for the money.

Clean, tight bass, attractive enclosure. Very happy with it.

High quality for good price

Dealer in Minneapolis had very knowledgable sales staff and treated me well.

I have had this for one year and I can't imagine
a better center(although I'm sure there's one out
there). This speaker can handle anything I
thrown at it, its never let me down yet. Sound
quailty is awesome highs lows it reproduces perfectly.
For you people who go out and buy it or test it, make
sure you give it time to break it in. I found it
takes some time(2-weeks) to break in the woofers.
I paid 300.00(u.s.) and it was well worth it! ENJOY!

The CC-350 is really great. The dialogues are very very clear. Musically it's also very accurate. Magnetic shielding is impeccable. It's a bit on the big/heavy side for a center but still manageable. I have it matched with Monitor 9s and a PW2200. Price was average ($275CDN + tax) for that kind of equipment.

Strength:

Good Volume levels, attractive box, build quality

Weakness:

Harsh tweeter, a bit chesty sounding.

I have been a little disapointed so far with my CC-350. I swapped out my Infinity Delta series speakers and went with some Mini-monitors combined with the CC-350. I think the tweeters in the Delta series were much clearer, and generally better. The Delta Center had a better voice quality to it as well. Don't get me wrong, I still think this is a good speaker, I just felt like I was upgrading my setup when in fact, I probably broke even. The Mini-Monitor's are an upgrade when combined with my Velodyne sub, but the center was a downgrade.
I like the build quality of the speaker, and the components used. The center isn't bad when used with music, with some of my DSP modes. I probably should have tried out the smaller CC-170 to see if it did a better job.
On an up note, the price is very good even at list considering the size of the speaker, and the quality of the components used. I am still tweaking quite a bit, and hopefully I can get some of the harshness and chestiness out of the speaker, if so I will post a follow-up review.

adp-170 (surrounds)
This center channel rocks right off the bat it took a load of work off my fronts which only improved the already outstanding performance and clarity. watching DVD movies on my panasonic a300 through my yamaha rxv592( my weakest link but still great for the price) is simply amazing combine this wiht $1200.00 of monter cable and audio quest cable and its a match made in heaven
I highly recomend the cc-350 center and allparadigm products in general as far as im concerned there the best speaker under $2000.00

This is where the TRUE center channel performers start. Anything less in size, weight, construction suffers from a lack of accuracy, depth and power. Not so with the 350. It has everything you'll need to take your 5.1 setup to max volume and never cave under the pressure. You could get the next version up, the 450, but I hear it's only a bit better but it's almost twice as much. For me, this is an investment I'm very happy with.

As with all Paradigm speakers, I recommend listening to your speakers for several months before writing a review. It needs at least a month with some pretty intense volume thown it's way to really smooth out and even up the sound. The mid will become more detailed and the highs will even out and become more precise.

If you have a 32 inch TV or larger to place this bad boy on, I highly recommend it. It has a nicely sloped top and sides which looks nice in my setup. If you prefer the more boxier, traditional look you can always go with the LCR 350 as your center. It has the same driver configuration, will sound identical, but has a perfectly rectangular shape.

There is one other alternative to a really cost effective Paradigm center. Try a single Mini Monitor! You can by them separately and, although they can't handle as much power as the LCR or CC 350, it's a great alternative for high-performance in a small or average room at an incredable price. However, if you're going to do this, use Mini's for the front and back as well... so they all match. You can buy each Mini from Kromer radio in downtown Toronto for about 180 Canadian. Or, get a full set of 5 for 900 Canadian. Which, consiquently, is cheaper than Paradigm's new budget "Cinima Series"... trust me, the full set of mini's would be the better buy (and in small rooms, you won't even need a sub with them).

Sorry for getting off topic there for a sec. Just wanted to give my thoughts on which Paradigms work best for different setups. I currently am in an average room, and bought for the future... when I have a huge room! For me, the CC350 was the best choice to match with my Monitor 7's on the front. I have Mini's on the rear and a PW2200 sub. Everything matches perfectly.

The only downside is that Paradigm's can sound a bit "boxy" with receivers that are very warm, like a Marantz. I suggest coupling all Paradigm's with an Onkyo or a Yamaha.

I paid 325 Canadian, or approx. 215 US
