Strength:
Great dynamics, wide soundstage, detailed, good bass, clear dialogue
Weakness:
None that I have encountered This center speaker has very good focus and clear, concise dialogue and the detail is excellent. It sounds very good for music and home theater and blends well with my other Paradigm speakers-well made and very high quality product. Similar Products Used: Paradigm Ref.20s and PS-1000 sub |

Strength:
Heavy, big, beautiful, absolutely imponent.
Weakness:
The price in Brazil. ops the dealer in Brazil (Sincrotape Systems) Your @#$#@*#$@!! I will @#$@#%&* you!! Very good center channel. I prefered the Studio. The B&W, JBL, Polk, Dynaudio, I don't liked. and I never will go to buy a Revel or other thing in this price. Similar Products Used: Never, I tested other products but this is my first center channel. |

Strength:
Exceptional quality and clarity. Terrific value for the price. Very natural sounding.
Weakness:
None so far I think it's the best center channel speaker on the market for its price. I am still amazed about clarity and focus. The dialogue is concise and the detail is excellent. I use it with a pair of Kef Reference 104/2 front speaker and the matching is excellent. Fine product, highly recommended! |

Strength:
Clarity, highly detailed, price !
Weakness:
Size .... wouldn't fit on top of my TV To be honest I wasn't even aware of what I missing in HT from the center channel until I started shopping for my new speakers. This baby is BIG, but puts out some great sound for HT and music in 5 channel stereo mode. Similar Products Used: none |

Strength:
Clarity, build quality, natural sounding vocals, seamless matching of Reference Studio speakers, price
Weakness:
looks do not match other real wood veneered speakers. large so it is difficult to find room to place. What can I say that hasn't already been said. This is an awesome speaker. I love the fact that it is large, but I think this is it's down side too. I cannot place this on my tv, but oh well. Similar Products Used: infinity cc, B&W LCR |

Strength:
Clean imaging for voices. Build Quality. One of the best centers out there! Can't really add anything that has not been said already. It is a great performing center. Very clean sound. Voices are very natural and clear. The clarity of the information processed by this speaker to the listener is just flawless. Similar Products Used: Polk, Def-Tech, B&W, Infinity |

Strength:
clarity of dialogue
Weakness:
not a perfect timbre match with Paradigm Reference Active/20's This speaker is Paradigm Reference's replacement for the popular CC-450 center channel (I don't know of any differences other than the name change). I bought this speaker with two goals in mind, to find a good timbre match for my Active/20's and to get clearer dialogue reproduction. While the speaker has a closer tonal match than the Klipsch it replaced it isn't as good as I had hoped for. This may be somewhat due to the Denon AVR-2400 receiver driving it. I couldn't justify the expense of an Active/CC with a $450 higher list price to achieve a near pefect match. Similar Products Used: upgraded from Klipsch KV-1 center channel |

Strength:
Clarity, depth, vocal placement in movies, even sound great for music in 5 channel stereo or music videos played in dd
Weakness:
absolutely nada I bought this speaker mainly just because it matched my reference 60 v.2's. The center channel was always just going to be the matching one for the fronts I liked best. Well, the 60's won the front competition, and WOW the reference center has impressed me. Similar Products Used: B&W cdm center (sounds good, but man it's big and ugly) |

Weakness:
Weight, No rubber feet I had to retire my Jamo center channel because the music DVDs were just putting out too much info Bass/mid for it to keep up. It had done a awesome job for many years. But now I have this 32 lb heavy weight which I hope my 32" TV can handle on top of it. It handles every thing I have thrown at it. Clear vocalas on movies and rocking on concert DVD's. I love it. I am glad i didn't skip this speaker when I bought all my paradigms. I have it sitting on a piece of dense rubber to isolate it from TV. I have auditioned about 8 center channel speakers and I forget all their names but this was by far the BEST! I bought this w/o hearing it because all the other ref studio speakers were so good. I knew i couldn't go wrong. It takes a lickin' & keeps on tickin'!! Similar Products Used: Jamo 200, KEF, Mirage |
