I knocked the dodgy geezers down from 4 figures to a touch over 3. Well worth that money, deliver good sound. I know they are a cheap Hong Kong derived speaker but looking in audio shops, that same money would have got me *far* less.

Nothing special

Good solid bass. Well defined mid and treble. Takes a lot of abuse from Unreal Tournament and loves it. Not top of the range by any means but well, I would rather have these speakers and a spare couple of grand than a top of the range set I wouldnt leave in the house for fear of burglary. I opened them up and everything looked OK. Again, no fancy audio circuitry or whatever but well, they sound nice anyway. I expect the same white van that sold me mine took a number of people to the cleaners for far greater sums however. Be cautious, know that these white van speaker deals are dodgy and although the speakers may well not be stolen, they are not usually what they look like.
