plays low frequencies really loud, extremely sensistive to amplifier input. no speaker plays lower and louder for the buck.

too heavy to move around

i got these speakers back in 1993 and had a JVC 110 watt/channel reciever. even with this cheap receiver these speakers bump so hard, they are definitely worth every penny i paid for them.

a pair of these speakers plays movies better than other surround setups i have heard, as a matter of fact these speakers blow away any speaker i've heard.

when i get a good separate amp, i'm sure they will get a little louder.

i'm hooked on CV's for life.

Once again PLEASE!!! DO NOT BUY THIS SUB. This is not an audiophile quality speaker or company . Even if your not an audiphile or enthuaiast there is so much better you can get for the money. The biggest problem with all of the cerwin-vega subs is they cant go low at all. The decibal rating after 40hz is nill it doesnt do crap. If you want a sub that will kill this which retails for only $699 look at the def tech 15tl. It is much tighter and more refined and it is flat to 17hz!! Even if you dont get the def tech look at other brands like energy paradigm or hsu research. I have listened to and reviewed a lot of subs and cerwin-vega are just some of the worst.

i have had my at-15's for about 6 years and they still rock. BIG TIME! i have them hooked to a parasound hca 2200'' amp. yes 400 watts per channel! and the cerwins handle it with ease. i have been to many concerts, and i love loud music, yet i have never cranked them to the max.they are to loud! with no distortion. i am very pleased with my at-15s. if you can find them. get them .
