SUPER LOUD, well built, big woofers, good quality, worht the money spent

The speakers are cerwin vega's loudest series other then the AL series. The LS series are louder then the E series and the E series 2.
I have to admit that the speakers rule, I have a amp that pushes 100 watts x 2 and I need to get a bigger amp. Since the amp can't meet the power required by the speakers when the bass begins to shake the pictures off the wall. The speakers are rated at 400 watts, peak and the dealer told me that would be 250 watts RMS, although Cerwin Vega themsleves inform me that the 400 watts being distributed in their brochure is in RMS wattage. The speakers are truely remarkable in engineering, the cabinets are very well built and insulated. The midranges have there very own cbinet inside of the main cabinet which helps to clear up the sound coming from the midrange since there will no longer be any more distortion as a result of the 15' woofer pounding like mad. The woofers are encased in it's very own aluminum housing which helps strengthen the speaker and distribute heat more rapidly. The speakers have fuse protection, so it's very hard for anyone to actually blow the speakers up, and the connections to hook up the speakers with the cable are very well industrial. Bannana plugs are used on mine and any one else can use just straight leads. But i suggest not to use skinny wire that is 18 gauge or higher since, they can cause serious damage to the speaker itself. I suggest mega-cable, it runs at about $0.50 a foot in length at radio shack it will help clear up the sound coming out of the speaker since there will be less distortion.
If anyone is deciding on either purchasing cerwin vega, i strongly suggest that you should, since they have been around longer then bose or any other of those crap company's currently making speakers that claim to just as loud. Although the speaker may be, they don't have the quality of vega's. And i'm sure vega's will be worth every penny spent.
Just make sure you got the room and very understanding neighbours, cause these seakers put a guy in jail here in my town, for noise violations. THEY ARE THAT LOUD.
