Very clear highs and mids. Handle all kinds of power and really kick out some bass.

Size. If your space is limited, look elsewhere.

I've had these speakers for several years now and I'm very satisfied with my investment. I still need a much better reciever than the one I have but it stills gets them rocking. Like some of the other reviews here I had to put in a slightly higher amped fuse. Mainly because of my reciever. In the near future I intend on making custom cabinets for these to really get them looking as good as they sound.

I have a pair of cerwin vega DC-15. They kicks ass!! I am SURE that these vs 150 can`t be compared to the DC-15`s... vs 150= 400watt maximum DC-15= 1000watt maximum! DC-15= MONSTER BASS!

VS150,Alot of people give cerwin-vega a bad rap,but for the money they are hard to beat,I have had mine 6 years and no trouble,mine are powered by an Acurus 200x3 amp and an Acurus ACT3 processor,the bass is awesome and never sloopy,great clear sound,does not have what you would call a good soundstage but alot of others speakers don''t either.I went to buy some new Klispch RF3 speakers but after listing to them I was very dissapointed,bass was weak, the midrange was good but they lack a good soundstage also. For the money I''ll stick with my Cerwin-Vega''s

I have had my VS-150's for about 3 years and they are still going strong. I can turn the volume up full throttle with no distortion what so ever.

My kids love the sound they produce when they watch Jurassic Park when the T-Rex let's out a roar. If you have a home theater system, turn the volume half way up, pop in the movie and hold on. My wife loves to watch Apollo 13 with the 150's and the volume turned half way up.

What I am trying to say is, they are worth every penny you spend on them. You will not be disappointed with thier sound.

P.S. DO NOT USE IN AN APARTMENT COMPLEX, MANY COMPLAINTS!!!

I have the Cerwin-Vegal VS-150 and the VS-120 on my Dolby Digital/DTS Home Theater System, also hooked up to two Definitive Technology Powerfied Subwoofers the PF18TL (18" Woofer) and the PF15TL (15" Woofer). The VS-150 are my Front Speakers and the VS-120 are my Rear Speakers. Also I have the Technics SB-L95 as my Center Speakers. As I stated before you can not beat these Ceerwin-Vega Speakers. Both the VS-150 and the VS-120 get a five star rating in my book. I just picked up 4 AL-1000's And conneceted them to 4 Carver A-760x's (bridged monoblock) DAMN! These puppys can simulate earthquakes! I am using a CT-24 Preamp, and a lightstar D/A and A/D digital interconnect.... The BEST sound quality. All those who said imaging was bad, Get a real preamp!

these speakers are simply awesome!!! the man who made them must be rich... and the only speakers ill put in my car are you got cerwin vega

the hole thing about buff proof ive got a couple scratches but thats about it.

if you dont have a set buy em while you still can there awesome. Ive got a 1500 watt amp hooked to em they shake my house their the best on the market.

Though I dont' understand a word Terry below said, I assume it's praise. I have to agree that these are the _Ultimate_ party speakers! Loud, clear, and BASSY. They're not audiophile speakers, but truely great rock 'n roll speakers. Nothing can push the air quite like a Cerwin-Vega! 15" woofer. This is bass you can _feel_ deep in your stomach. Don't use these speakers until an hour after eating!
