Since my repeated request for the inclusion of the Def Tech 2004TL review has met with stopped ears or eyes or what ever, I am reviewing them here.

It took alot of speaker for me to sell my VMPS Tower II's. These Def Techs are amazing. They ARE NOT the same speaker as the 2004. The 2004TL has a slightly larger cabinet and a 250 watt sub-woofer amp instead of a 125 watt amp. They take up almost no room and the sound is wonderfully smooth and uncolored. Highly recommend these speakers for audio as well as home theater.

I expect they will sound even better once they are broken in.

These are great speakers, they were "demos" on sale for half price so I couldn't pass 'em by. They sounded good in the store AND after I took them home. I already had a 200w 15" Audio Source subwoofer, so I cranked that sub down quite a bit. They sound great with it. I'm using a Sony STRDE945 110w X 5 receiver and haven't gotten it past half volume yet. Most all of my system is Sony. I also use Monster Wire. Didn't get all the paperwork with them, as they were demos, but e-mailing Def Tech resulted in a same-day response from them. Now I have to replace my rear & center speakers, up-grading my system never ends. I gotta give them 5 stars for value, $800.00 for the pair!
