Strength:

All around terrific sound!

Weakness:

None.

These speakers sound fantastic even with my old reciever!
I bought four for the fronts and rears and the 2300 for a center and I find that I have to turn the bass levels way down to prevent disturbing my neighbors. The lack of magnetic shielding seemed like a problem but I found that after a few days of use they seem to have less effect on the tv and can be placed closer.
Unbeatable value!

I power these babies with a Yamaha DSP-A1 and only play CD's thus far from the new Yamaha C996 DVD changer connected by a Monster Cable fiber optic interconnecter Toslink. I listen to classical, rock blues, blues rock and plenty of jazz and these fill the bill for these musical veins in all the ways listed above and more. I moved from 901s which I had for years and was able to maintain the spatiousness and gain much more as listed above. I can't wait to create the home theater with a pair of these babies in the back and a c/l/r 2300 in the front to match across the front. Give these a listen, these may just shake your world!

Strength:

Great mids and highs. Ground Shaking bass! Price!

Weakness:

none

I just recently purchased my Def Techs and a Denon AVR 4800 receiver as the first part of my dream that I can afford. Just having these three pieces of the puzzle forces me to play in stero mode all the time which for now is fine. The sound stage that the 2006's produce is simply amazing and goes straight for the throat if you get careless with the volume. Bass from the sub is fantastic and does the job just fine. One of the reasons that I chose Definitive Technology speakers was that they are equally good for music and home theater. That is what I required of my sysem. Eventually I will move the 2006's to the rear of my room as my surrounds and put the Bp2000tl's as my main towers and my center channel will be the clr3000. God I can't wait till it is complete. But in the meantime I am quite pleased with these bad boy jr's and letting them know help is on the way.

As a side note my musical tastes trully are from one end of the spectrum to the other and the Bp2006tl's handle it all with ease. Money well spent.
