Strength:

* look good * Not bad sound

Weakness:

* Far too much base (sound better linked with another pair of speakers with not so much base) * DEFINATELY NOT WORTH THE MONEY PAID!

Same story as most people.... 2 guys in a white van with Dynalab plastered all over it approached a workmate and myself whilst working in Sydney, claiming these speakers are worth $3000 a pair. Little did they know a similar thing happened in melb a couple of months prior, so i sorta knew it was a scam. Nevertheless, after showing brochures etc and giving a warranty, i thought, they can't be all that bad, and got sucked in. If anyone else sees these scammers do me a favour and smack the pricks in the mouth and take a set for free! Got them home and fired them up....... not bad, but by no means what was promised; probably work a lot better on a top quality amp

Strength:

Powerful bass, detail, clear,SO SO Solid and cripy. .Wonderful with RAP, POP, JAZZ and PUNK. Not bad when listen to guitar.

Weakness:

Sound not so open.

Oh Boy ! I read all the review down there I feld like a sucker for few months. But after that I found out with a good amp these speakers not so bad for that kind of price . The sound is so solid and detail . The Bass is so wonderful for POP, RAP, and Punk. The midrange is not so wide, sound stage is warm not bright so is nice when you play some JAZZ . So mate if you don't have a good AMP don't buy these speakers . And if you are a RAP& Punk or JAZZ,even POP LOVER go for it . You CAN NOT find any B&W or LINN,or JBL or any loudspeaker with the price up to £450.00 give you this good sound quality . All talk is rubish, beleive in your ear . listen and beleive it. people love to have BIG name even is rubish . How could you buid GOOD loudspeaker can give you all what you wanted with that kind of price . Oh mate! Open up you mind and feel happy mate. What a HELL...With UNDER £ 450 I think it is the best.

Strength:

I don't know. I found out that it's a scam minutes after I paid these guys for what were supposedly $1000 speakers. I probably got $100 worth of speakers for my $400 (Canadian).

Weakness:

How awful you feel when you find out you've been completely suckered.

MTS Speakers (bought out of a van) in Toronto.

Strength:

They're black

Weakness:

1. Tweets can't hang 2. These reviews are true 3. Aluminum wiring and contacts

I was "told" by a "former" friend of mine that these were $1000 speakers he bought from Circuit City. He and his wife were slitting up and he said he needed to sell them for the cash to get his own place. Since He WAS a friend I wanted to help him out and I didn't mind getting some decent sounding decent looking speakers for "only" $400. Then after both tweeters blew and I went to a local Audiophile shop to find replacements I found out about the "White Vans" and I counted one friend as a former friend and I hoped his soon to be ex-wife took him for what little he had.

Strength:

Too,too many to list.Would need a month to list them all and more than the room available here!

Weakness:

Are you crazy! If you thought the Wilsons are good I bet these trounce em' ! Perhaps the Cardboard that is starting to appear from the rain that got on them and the paint starting to run.But what the heck I can touch em' up and I can staple another piece of cardboard to the side! To big of a cutout on the back I guess they used a razor blade to cut the port. Rats nest of wire I see through the openning in the cardboard. Will this improve the sound once they are broken in?

Replaced my DIY Williams Watt Puppies I bought last year in the same parking lot, they are that good!Traded the Puppies in and only gave the guy $100 bucks for the trade-in. I was peeling rubber from the parking lot because I knew the guy would be after me to get his SOTA speakers back. Soundstage appears to go all the way through the walls and outside the house! Bass is like having Motar Fire landing in my listening chair when watching movies and I am going to let go of my bowels it goes that low! Treble is like the singer is right there performing!Little tizzy though!

Strength:

Good sound reproduction, good bass at low volume, plenty of volume without distoring.

Weakness:

Heavy, large, the warranty is good for toilet paper..

Yes, bought it off dodgy geezers in a white van with large Dynalab logo on the side.. I thought was dodgy, and felt like an IDIOT for buying them. But turns out, with a decent amp, they put out bloody good audio, plenty of bass at low volume and I can't complain. I'm still waiting for them to explode or a brick to fall out, but I actually liked them so much I bothered to get them shipped back to Australia with all the rest of my stuff.

Strength:

Sound pretty good. Better than some more exspensive models at circuit city. So what does that say about the rest of the companies that sell good speakers???

Weakness:

I spent $300 bucks when my gut feeling said SCAM.

Just like everyone else, I was approached by two young guys as I was leaving Lowes Home Center. "You ever heard of Denmark Speakers?" Of course I didn't. I was VERY skeptical about this. But after looking at the "quality" construction(heavy weighted cabinet, binding post, rubber cone surrounds, etc), I thought this was an ok thing. Still very skeptical, I called a buddy to "back me up" while I took the speakers home to listen. To tell the truth, they sounded pretty good. At least they were not garbage. I cranked them up and they sounded ok still. Yet I was determined not to part with more than $300 even if they were "legit". As I'm attempting to work the price down, my buddy says he wants to buy some also. Not only does he buy the tower speakers for $300...He tries to one up me(as usual) and spends another $350 on the home theater in a box the guys had also. I tried to talk him out of this saying if these guys are scaming at least you'd cut your loses. He heard none of that. So he's $650 lighter as a result. Its been a year and I've had no trouble with these. Even though I smelled a rat, I still took the cheese. I guess I can be glad my buddy was a bigger sucker than I. That home theater system he bought sounds like fire crackers going off. hahahaa

Strength:

great sound for home theater

Weakness:

ehh.. ok when listening to music...

I dont know about everyone else, but I think the speakers sound great when hooked up to a decent home theater system. I just bought the Sony dream system DAV-C990... and I think im gonna hook up my dynalab speakers to my fronts because they give a deeper, fuller sound.

None that I can tell

Same story as everyone else - driving through the parking lot and two guys with a Quebec license plate come up and say that they have a great deal on some speakers. They had a pamphlet saying that the speakers are worth $3,199 a set. Apparently, their boss received too many speakers in the shipment and instead of the boss selling them to make some extra money, these guys figured they would. Thinking they were such a great deal, we paid $300 for them. I figured that I would go on the net to find some info about them and now, I'm sorry I did!!
