I walked into the store with my usual gunfighter's swagger. "Lemme hear those towering heaps o' audio trash" I said as I pointed at the Eosone 1000 system.
"Sure" replied the luckless salesman

I handed him my reference CDs and prepared to savage yet another speaker system designed for the masses. My hand hovered menacingly over my Colt "Peacmeaker" and I waited for the first note. Just as I bagan my draw, the Eosones got off the first shot. Reeling, I sat on the handy listening chair. I quickly checked my body for damage. My ears, amazingly were just fine--no bleeding or anything! The sound wasn't harsh or irritating. The bass didn't boom or sound tubby

"What the..." I uttered in true cinematic cliche.

These Eosones were pretty good. The only drawback (besides the price) was a little "trash" in the high frequencies, but high enough so that it didn't offend.

I would recommend these speakers to non-audiophiles who just want to listen to music without irritation.
