Can't understand why this speaker is not that famous yet, excellent speaker that it is. Its an insult to even compare it to the B&W CDM1 or even the Matrix 805. The only thing that comes close is the mbl 311, which is still not on par, not to mention it being more expensive. |

Strength:
FS68 has good transparency, seperation of instruments are good, very musical & neutral, tight bass, fantastic quality finish in black piano lacquer
Weakness:
Bass can be lower but the perfect mid tonal range is sacrificed, so its either better mid or more bass, for me I choose a better mid You will need to know what equipment I am using to gv you all a better judgement of the matching. Here it is:- Similar Products Used: KEF Cresta 2, Mission 780's, B&W CDM 2 SE |

Strength:
pretty good and tidy mid-frequency and high-frequency and bass control good.
Weakness:
Nothing other than price. First of all, i would like to say that i like music very much.I keep changing my set but something that i want is not there (something missing) and now I'am using Marantz CD Player, Copland amplifier and Pro AC speaker but not satisfied with it. Until one day when i change my amplifier to AUDIO SPACE, speaker to FOCUS AUDIO and use my existing CD player, i realise that the mid and the high range totally better than my previous set. Now i feel very satisfied with it. It really close to the analoque sound. You guys should try it at your nearest dealer~! |

I would like to know from all for you out there who has compare this speaker with the ProAc 1SC. I have audition the FS-68 a few times and find it very good. Its sound is balance top to buttom (within its range) and very airy. The sound is open and very good imaging. Its quality certainly is a five star rating. However I have not a chance to audition not to mention compare (Not possibe in Singapore) it with the ProAc which I read to be the equal of the Focus and better in terms of imaging. Anyone please advise as I plan to upgrade to either one of them. Well, down here the ProAc is slightly cheaper. |

Strength:
Superb Highs and Mids. Very clear and precise positioning of instruments. Lively strings
Weakness:
Relatively weak bass Within this price range this bookshelf is really difficult to beat. Prior to my purchase, the Pro Ac sc1 and the tabelette 2000 were also on my list. After listening to all three I think that both the Pro Acs sounded brighter and more neutral but the FAs were warmer and more "musical". In this aspect, it was purely a personal choice. The big difference is when listening to strings and vocals. Both sounded more alive and real than the Pro Acs. All three are very precise and clear but the FA edges out as being the more "human" of the three. |
