voice matching

weak low end

This is my first set of speakers, so I don't have much to compare it to. The center channel has two voice matching knobs, so you can adjust it to match perfectly if you have similar main speakers. The speaker is great for home theater. I can't say it has the best low frequency response, and this is probably due to the smaller drivers and cabinet, as well as positioning. But with a subwoofer, most of the lows get redirected anyway, if you set up the reciever properly. This speaker is very clear, and can handle plenty of power if your reciever can supply it.

I bought this speaker used on Ebay, and I'm very happy with it.

Excellent mid's and high's.

Bought it locally with big disount and must say that this speaker really made a difference. Sound is incredible. Vocals are very clear(feels like somebody is talking to me in my room). Two voice matching control(1 for mid's and 1 for high's). I'm using CC-3 with Infinity RS5's and match is very good.
For the price ~$250, there are not many speakers which can match CC-3 in sound reproduction.

doesn't always keep up with fronts in 5-channel stereo

I traded in my little CC-1 for this up at Circuit City when the CC-3 went on sale. MUCH better sounding speaker than the CC-1; its larger woofers and tweeter just make it sound like a bigger speaker should. Works excellently with my receiver for all movie dialogue and effects, but struggles a little bit with the 5-channel stereo on my onkyo. it just doesn't seem to keep really well at as high a volume as the rs-5 fronts or my old sterling-series towers I use as rears. As relatively inexpensive as this speaker is, it is more than sufficient for ht use and eventually I would like to pick up a slightly more musical center.
