Beautiful highs and mids, but sadly, virtually no lows. Even though my ratings sheet said 38 khz. I ran these on an Onkyo R1 system and I had to cut the bass by 50% to play at level 12 (out of 40) or the bass would sound loose and distorted. Very spiffy cab design though... |

I love these speakers. I went to my local Audio shop and was looking for a good pair of speakers. I am not rich but did want to buy speakers that I would be happy with. The sound from these speakers was breathtaking. The treble was liquid perfect, the bass great, but not bone shaking. The sound is pure and that was what I was looking for. I brought some cd's with me and a laserdisc movie. It was great, needs alillte more bass but that why I just put a Infinty subwoofer on layaway. For good music buy these speakers, you will be happy you did. The 2000.6 sounds great too. in case your wondering I listened to polk, nht and these. i brought these, enought said. |

I have to say I brought these speakers at Circuit city for $ 139.95 each one. these speakers usually go for $275.00. they were floor models but were in perfect scondition and sounds great. I have always looked at Cambridege speakers, polk, nht and bose but I prefer this unit. it has great treble, bass is good, but do ot expect bone shaking bass. it sound goods, looks good and at the price a steal. highly recommended even if I had paided the full price. |
