Strength:
Very good mids and highs, can hear the details in the music very well, also the bass is sufficiently good.
Weakness:
None. The RS5 covers the spectrum very well - from the lows to the highs. I traded my RS3 for the last pair in Circuit City. I had to get these since Infinity has stopped the production of these and come out with much pricier speakers. |

Strength:
price, clarity, power-handling
Weakness:
2-way, 2-way, 2-way! these speakers serve as the mains in my current ht setup. they do an acceptable job with highs and mids, but i have to set the speaker level to "small" on my receiver and divert more of the bass to my sub and mudding it a little...because these speakers are two-ways. work very well with my cc-3 center and jbl psw-1000 sub, but do not voice-match well with my sterling 2002s. able to accomodate a good entry-level ht setup and still provide nice loud, full, clear sound when watching dvd and are sufficient when it comes to music. i will be upgrading these eventually for a nice set of 3-way towers, so hopefully some of these inherent problems of 2-way speakers can be avoided.
