good sound,good bass,good appearance

not magnetically shielded slight hum when not playing

I spent quite a bit on receiver and cd burner so I didn't have a lot to spend on speakers at this time.I grabbed a cerwin and a klh at the store and cranked them up.I purchased the klh because the cerwin was 3 times the price.I had intended on upgrading these to a better brand but they have been in use for over a year with no problems.The sale price of $100 a year ago makes it really hard to complain about these.I have pounded alternative,rap,r&b with no problems.I think for the price tag you are getting a good product backed with a 5 year warranty.

My system blew my Cerwin Vega 250$ speakers and these sound almost as good for 1/3 the price. This is my actual only stereo not a bedroom system as so many people claim LOL. I'm sure some 400$ Speakers sound better but for the $$ Value you cant beat these 9912's , not to mention i cant even blow them if i tried. I listen to everything from Rush to Brahms and it all sounds great !!

Price, sound quality, appearence.

its made of plywood and when trying to hit hard bass they pop.

This is a good main speaker for the price. I purchaced them a Best Buy for $50 each. The sound very good although the bass pops.

Good Base and clarity

These speakers play loud and last. They pump out good bass and will make your ears hurt from the treble also. They are good speakers for the price and wont blow to my knowledge...I use these speakers at all my parties and haven't blown like all my previous speakers. And since they only cost $100 you don't have to worry about drunk morons spilling beer on them or kicking a whole in them because they're easy to replace.

Low Price, Good Sound

Pretty big, could use better construction

For those low on cash, but need good sound, these are perfect. I will give in to those who think KLH is a joke of a speaker, but these are really nice. They do take a while before they sound really good, but they still are better than a lot of Cerwin Vega's and other brands.

The 250 watt power rating is great for those who like big sound. At only $99 these speakers really kick ars.

And for those people out there that say these speakers suck, and KLH sucks, you should try these out. If you know anything about speakers they have to "break in". No speaker sounds perfect out of the box. Overtime these speakers have only gotten better.

loud, look great

um...

I got these at ubid.com for 50$. once, i did blow them, but klh replaced the woofers for cheap. now i try to blow these things, but they won't even distort. i have them connected to my JVC 500 watt reciever, but it puts out 110 in stereo. i have two 300 watt Rockford Fosgate subwoofers hooked up to my system also, so bass isn't a problem.

I THOUGHT ALL THIS TIME KLH SUCKS, BUT AFTER BUYING THIS ONE CAUSE I DIDNT HAVE ENOUGH BUDGET FOR MY SYSTEM, IT TURNED OUT TO BE A PRETTY GOOD DEAL. I USE THIS SPEAKERS WITH MY SONY STR-DE945 RECIEVER AND THE WEAKEST THAT I HEARD OF EARLIER FROM PEOPLE ABOUT THIS SPEAKER IS GONE. SO I GUESS BUY A NICE A/V TO GO ALONG WITH THIS SPEAKERS.

Bass, power handling, and low, low price.

Cheaply contructed cabnets, but what do you want for 100 bucks?

I've always had shelf systems as stereos. One day I went to a friends house who had just bought a component system. Man, let me tell you, it rocked. I liked it so much I did some research and went out and bought one of my own. I was ready to drop 300 bucks on a pair of sony tower speakers when I saw this pair of KLH's on sale for 99 bucks. I figured hey, these will work for now and if I hate the sound, i'll take them back and get something different.
Well I got home, hooked them up to my sony STR-DE845 reciever, and man, I was amazed. They rock. Some people have complained about pour sound, but with the equilzer adjustments on my reciever, I was able to make them sound amazing. Also, you can turn the volume waaaayy up and they didn't distort at all. They just thumped out nice bass that shook the walls, and mids and highs were clear as can be. I have heard better sounding speakers, but if you are looking for something cheap, that sounds good, these speakers are for you. Go out and get them now.
