Strength:

Low Price, not bad sound

Weakness:

bass is missing higher bass levels, cheaply constructed

This Product is very cheap in price. I can not believe the huge amount of posts on these speakers. The average rating of this speaker from thsi site is largely inflated by some users sending the same rating up to 25 times! so I believe its lower than it says.

Anyways these speakers are perfect if you have no money.
I actually blew it out 6 times and had my extended warrenty cover it. If you have the money go with cerwin vegas or something. Only buy these if you dont feel that quality is more important than price.

Strength:

Great details , sound good loud or quiet , great value overall very impressive

Weakness:

when A/v receiver first has power on the speakers tend to crackle for a few seconds but that's the only thing i've noticed

Very good speakers. The ohms could be a bit smaller and the speakers could have a little more bass reflex to them. But if you really want more bass , buy a damn subwoofer! The box is very cheaply made.I am a proffesional custom audio expert and i give these speakers a pretty good rating the only reason i didn't give them the highest rating was because of the crakling when first powered on.

Bass

Weakness:

Lots of Watts

I got a pair of these at sams club in indiana along time ago, I think it must have been 3 years now. But they are probably the best speakers I have ever had. They are great sounding speakers. The super tweater really hits the high notes, and the HUGE 15 inch woffers (they should be called subs) can shake the house. The only thing I dont like about them is the DINKEY 4 way crossover. At about 80-90 watts (I have a 100 watt garrard amp) the mid range and tweater start to pop. I think I might try and fine a better crossover for them and put some fiberglass in the case, that shoud improve there sound. :-) but I would highly recomend them to anyone.

Strength:

Loud, lots of bass, good sound quality

Weakness:

no major ones found yet

I'm living in a Dorm at college, and I was looking to build a system that would give me loud, good sounding music without paying alot. After searching quite a few audio stores, I could not find anything in my price range that could meet my expectations. Then my friend told me about these babies. They are definitly what I was looking for. I must admit, I am no audio expert, but for my purposes (hard hitting music) these speakers sound great. I definitly would recomend them to any other college student trying to impress his friends and kick the butts of all the other systems in his dorm.

Strength:

not bad sound, decent price, looks impressive :/

Weakness:

thin cabinets, woofer doesnt make anywher near as much bass as it should

if you are kinda low on money and need some nice looking speakers (kinda), then id reccomend these. but if you want some good ones, go with sony or someone else.

when i first decent pair of front speakers, so i didnt really know what 'good' was at the time (my previous were LKHL 9912, and before that, some beat up 8 inchers that were 20 yrs old). KHL claims that they amp up to 300w. my receiver goes to 100w, and im pretty sure the sound ard (sbLive! x-gamer) doesnt amp up to 200w. when turned 1/2 way up on receiver (full on sound card), the woofers sound like they are about to blow. when i put my rears on the front and tested them out, they could take it with no problem as long as the bass was turned a little down. the woofers on them are like 5.5 inches, tho....

my friends are impressed by them, but....the speakers they use are in their TV, and they have no clue what 5.1' means, so...

Everything else.

I have heard many other speakers and none of them have sounded this lifeless. It would be a mistake to buy these for any more than $1 a piece. In recollection, this is my worst purchase of any product in any category EVER!!!

I have heard to many expensive speakers to say that thease speakers are not good so if you don't like thease speakers I think that you can go and fu ck yourself. But I don't think that there are too many people like that. Thease speakers are very good and I think tat they are better than speakers that are three times the price. I would reccomend Thease speakers to anyone.

Strength:

PRICE, PRICE, PRICE...OHH AND THEY SOUND TOO.

Weakness:

CONCERNING THE PRICE PAID, THE COMPONENTS AND MAKEUP OF THE SPEAKER ARE WHAT YOU PAY FOR. BUT HIGHS ARE MUFFLED AND BASS RESPONSE COULD BE MUCH BETTER WITH A SOLID WOOD BOX THAT EXTENDED ABOUT 6 INCHES IN DEPTH.

15" 4-way tower speakers for $200! Can this really be possible...actually it can be, if you buy two pieces of cardboard crap! In all honesty, the box is much to thin to resonante the low frequencies in any proper manner, not to mention that if set to a loud enough volume, the box looks as though it might actually fly apart. But then again, you wouldn't have to worry much of that taking place, as the magnet on the woofer is much to small and light to handle even a moderate surge of power, let alone 300 watts as Klh claims. Additionaly, these contraptions are big and bulky and they absolutely sounded like crap at Best Buy when I purchased them. YET THEY ARE THE BEST INVESTMENT I COULD HAVE POSSIBLY MADE CONCERNING SPEAKERS. Yup, thats right! In light of my situation, they are perfect. I live in an apartment complex where extremely loud noises are prohibited. As a consequence I needed a speaker that would sound good at low levels but yet still had an adequate amount of bass response. Naturally, it should then go without saying that the inferior box and magnet, alongside with the high volume distortions became of no concern. Interestingly, the highs (when listening at Best Buy) really sucked. But I purchased the speakers anyway as I knew my system at home was sure to remedy the problem. Heavy 10' guage Monster speaker wire, Gold plated Monster interconnects, a 10 band independent channel equalizer, and 200 watts of power per channel to boot really made these speakers shine. In effect, the highs really came to life, as before the supertweeter was all but non-existant. The moral of the story is that all things considered UNLESS one poessess a system capable of balancing out the negatives of these speakers, and similarily is in a situation that compliments these speakers (as in mine with the apartment scenario), then these Klh's might NOT really be for you. In all honesty, the speakers by themselves really are nothing to brag about. However, for a college student like me, the price is much to my liking. My overall opinion includes both much opposition as well as praise in regards to the features of the 9915, yet I truly believe they were a bargain at $99 a piece. In fact, I will take it one further and claim that they were a steal!

Strength:

loud bass, big

Weakness:

big

these speakers are alright for playing loud rock or rap music. they are very cheaply made. They really don't give quite the quality that u get from slightly more expensive speakers, but if you have the space (they are huge) and like loud music and loud bass (probaly won't need a sub if your amp can power them) they are ok. i do think that most of the 5 star rating where given by people that aren't really concered about quality or just can't notice. But they do not deserve a 1 star rating either. I am going to get my self some new main speakers to use instead for a digital setup but plan on saving them for an extra room. If you are impressed with big speakers and don't want to spend too much these are pretty damn big.
