The redesigned Reference series flagship floor standing speaker, the RF-7 II, is a serious a tower providing large room filling sound. The Tractrix horn technology pushes the tweeter to a new level of sonic pin dropping sound and highly accurate drivers that blows life into your action or drama movies. The dual 10" woofers are sheer golden beauties and powerful to express the emotion in music, reaching near deep bass that rivals your sub-woofer. Combining the 1.75" tweeter and the woofer is a prefect balance to price ratio. My stamp of approval goes to the product being assembled right here in the U.S.A

Now let's talk about the authorized dealers, brick and mortar shops are generally my first option for my purchases. Bestbuy's Klipsch's Icon model is overpriced and I'd rate the product a D+ in my opinion. My recent BB Customer service was unfavorable, forcing me to look elsewhere, in reality these days are online authorized dealers. So who do you trust if you want a solid product at a great deal online? Well, I highly recommend www.acousticsounddesign.com and this is why!

Acoustic Sound Design or ASD has a solid reputation, CEO directly emailed upon my purchase and his team has great communication at every step of the process. Furthermore, RF-7 II retails from Klipsch at 1599.99 per tower and ASD has offered their RF-7 II B at bargain $1,199. What's the differences? only the color tone of the veneer! It's a gorgeous darker wood, than what Klipsch would like to accept as sellable standard. Both models of RF-7 II will perform 100 percent since the hardware is the same! Once I received my 90lbs RF-7 II from ASD, I studied the veneer closely and I could not tell how Klipsch would fail this veneer, however so be it. I get a huge 25 percent saving/ $400 per speaker. ASD provided free shipping through R and L carrier whom took care and quickly moved across the united states in a week. Would I buy again? Yes, Acoustic Sound Design has earned my respect, trust and future purchase. If you're going to get speaker soon, please check out these folks first!

I lost my vintage Klipsch Heresey speakers in a fire, and was decided to go with a balanced system/home theater package to replace my lost one.

I thought that the Klipsch RF-7s and the RC-64 were out of my reach until I talked with Mike Embers at http://www.acousticsounddesign.com/ and he simply made me an offer I couldn't refuse. One week later, the entire system was at my house (FL - shipped from Las Vegas), everything in order, and one very happy customer to boot.

These speakers are everything I hoped for, and the best system I have heard in a home. Klipsch high-end stuff is still definitely "High End Stuff".

I purchased a pair of RF-7 II speakers in cherry.

My complete setup includes a RC-62 II center channel, a pair of RS-52 II side speakers, a pair of CDT-5800-C rear ceiling speakers, a Hsu Research HVFT-3 subwoofer, Onkyo TX-NR818 receiver, Panamax M300-PM line conditioner, and KnuKonceptz CL3 12 gauge wire.

I spent over a month listening to speakers at the local retailers, speaking with friends and acquaintances, and reading online reviews and blogs. I purchased B&W speakers from a local retailer and returned them before buying the RF 7 IIs.

I bought everything online.

The RF-7 II's sound wonderful. They fill the room with sound. A friend cautioned me that the horns would be too bright and that I would grow tired of them. That certainly has not been the case. The cherry speakers are beautiful. But the speakers are a little bigger than my wife would prefer.

Our primary use for the speakers is home theater. The speakers really make watching a movie an experience.

But when my family is out I switch to Pandora Internet radio and crank up the speakers. The speakers really shine for music and at high volumes. They are able to deliver clean sound even when played loud.

I was comfortable buying most of my home theater system online just based on reviews. But I was not as comfortable buying speakers that way. I bought all my Klipsch speakers at
www.acousticsounddesign.com. Since they sold a full line of speakers I felt comfortable that they were objective about the RF-7 IIs versus competitor speakers they sold. They helped me find the right speakers for my room and listening tastes, and to match the speakers for the whole home theater.

Overall, I would definitely recommend these speakers to a friend and now confidently say that you can buy great speakers online without listening to them first.

I hemmed and hawed about upgrading my floor speakers for quite a while, but I had my eye on the RF-7IIs after hearing them at a friend's place out in Portland (he lived in a house with a heck of a yard, so he could let them rip). I came upon a deal from an online retailer called Acoustic Sound Design selling brand new speakers that had been labeled "B Stock" because the cherry veneer was deemed too dark by the QC folks. I had my reservations about dropping that much on a "less than perfect" set, but I have to say that I am nothing but pleased. Call it cognitive dissonance, but I actually like the darker grain better. If you're on the fence about these speakers, my guess is that you'll be pretty pleased with the purchase. I just wish I didn't live in an apartment so I could really give them some juice!

Just received and installed the RF 7 II with a RC 64 II center purchased from Acoustic Sound Design, and they sound fantastic. Powered through a Denon AVR 5800 and using RP 5s as my rear speakers; the total overall sound stage experience is something to behold.

Acoustic Sound Design was great, fast free shipping and had these speakers within 3 days of purchase. Can't say enough good things about both the speakers and the service provided by Acoustic.
