Strength:

They have great sound, nice low down bass and the treble is right at the top. Great for the home theatre environment. One big plus is the build of the box.

Weakness:

None as of yet.

I have them on a Harmon Kardon AVR10 and they complement the set of 731LE and the 70C1 very well. As the bass comes down nice and low there is no real need for having a active sub but it would be nice. Having hi quality speaker cable is also a big must as is placement.

Similar Products Used:

They do have better depth than the older 73X range and a slightly better build quality to them as well.

Strength:

clean sound, good deep low frequency without sounding Plummy

Weakness:

sibilant speech? may be microphone on FM radio

I have had them about a month. I listen to a lot of FM radio in the UK. Classic FM, Jazz FM, BBC radio 2 & 3 these speakers are great for the money give an excellent 3D image Classical is Good. Moby play can contain deep bass but the Missions deliver the Goods. clarity is superb, solo instrument is cleanly defined from main orchestra. Jazz is warm and detailed. Drums are superbly reproduced. They need burning in. and good speaker cables (cable Talk 3)There are better speakers but not for this kind of money.

Strength:

Good clean treble and good bass at higher volume.

Weakness:

Small amounts of bass compared to treble at low volume.

This is my first separates system so i thought i would review it for all the people who dont know much (like me). I have cambridge audio A500 amp and D300 cd player and i am very impressed with the output given by the speakers from these components

Strength:

Clarity and power

Weakness:

No bi-wiring option

These speakers retail at £160.00 in England, although I bought them cheaper than that as part of a system package, with a Cambridge A500 amp and Sony CDP-XE330 CD player. The manual recommends running in the speakers for some time, and after having done this they have proved to give an excellent representation of low, mid, and high frequencies. For example, spinning Erykah Badu's 'On and on' reveals very powerful and deep bass. If you are a bass maniac then these Missions are for you!! I use them with the grilles off because they look so good with their white glass-composite bass cones. They do not have provision for bi-wiring but this does not seem to detract from the power and amazing clarity that these Missions deliver.
