Strength:
The outsanding high requence clarity, and soild reproduction of bass notes
Weakness:
Ummm.....Should you be asking this? I bought these little beasts to replace my aging Wharfedale XP3s. I had previewed dozens of similar speakers from numerous manafactures. And still these Mordaunts led the field...Their clarity is unbelieveable, they also provide a new dimention to the sound when it comes to the imaging of the stereo....in some cases they almost sound like a front surround system! The sheer levels of Bass from such small cabinates is suprising, but not over the top, and intergrates well with the mid and top end sound....The bi wire capability is a real boost and i am soon hoping to bi-amp aswell......no complaints here...WELL DONE Mordaunt Short for these beasts!!!! Strength:
bass, midrange, size clarity
Weakness:
none Upon arrival of these speakers, i was not to happy. the midrange was great but the speaker did not sound good. There was a card in the box that i missed when i first opened it and it said there was a 36 hour breakin period. 3 days later i could hear a huge difference. these speakers have a 5 1/4 speaker and a tweeter, and the bass was awesome. i couldnt beleive that these little speakers had such a great, full sounding sound. the soundstage was excellent too. I am very impressed with the 902s. Similar Products Used: m80 bookshelfs, towers, etc |
