Strength:
Great sounding, well built, small bookshelf speaker (the appearance grows on you)
Weakness:
none that aren't associated with being a small bookshelf speaker I think too often we compare Clydesdales to Thoroughbreads. Or more appropriately in this case, a Shetland Pony to a Thoroughbread. Similar Products Used: Boston CR6 |

Strength:
Great quality sound and well built for the $buck$.
Weakness:
It was a mission to find brackets to mount them to the wall. I had the Bose AMS15 set and wasn't happy with sound quality until I brought a whole set of Polkaudio which consist of fronts:RT15I, center:CS245I, rears: RT15I and the PSW450 subwoofer(Polk also). I'm a very happy camper. I know it's not "high end" stuff but it does the job, the sound these babies put out is filling up my 350 square feet living room. |

Strength:
Small size,big sound,good price
Weakness:
They are kinda ugly (Black woodgrain?) I'm 46 years old. Back in the 70's I had a pair of 10 in. speakers connected to a homemade head gear. I used these headphones with a pioneer supertuner when driving my van. In other words my hearing is suspect but I am kind of picky about what I listen to. Strength:
Size, Price, Clarity, little to no coloration
Weakness:
None at this size and Price, but a sub is a must. If you are looking for a complete, inexpensive home theater system that is well matched and images well, the RT25's and a CS245 center, along with a polk sub should be at the top of your list for consideration. The speakers are small and versatile, and the power port allows for deep enough bass that they may be well crossed over with any sub and not leave holes in your frequency respnose, wich when set up right should be very flat from wherever your sub kicks in up to 23Khz. They aren't overly harsh on the highs, and the vocals are very convincing. Similar products to consider would be the RT35 depending on your power desires, and the Paradigm Mini Monitors, and B+W 601's, all of which will cost you more. |

Strength:
Highs, mids and good bass for speakers this small and cheap
Weakness:
Bass bottoms out, when played at very very HIGH volume speakers tend to pop with loud drums These speakers are one of the best speakers in this price range, where the infinity's cost a little more, these sound better i think. If these were mated with a sub, you could have a very good musical setup. THese are good speakers, well made and a good warrenty. Being in high school, I do not have a huge amount of money to spend, and these sounded the best for the money i could scrape together. THese are played through the following setup: Similar Products Used: Infinity, JBL |

Strength:
Excellent Mids and Highs, Good Bass form such a tiny woofer
Weakness:
Bass drums can make woofer cones pop when played on the edge I bought these speakers as quiet night listening speaker and can say they surprised me tremendously. I got them on sale at a very reasonable price and am very pleased. They play nice a clean with excellent mids and highs. They have exceptional bass for such a small woofer. Aside from the occasional pop from the woofer if a bass drum hits too hard they are perfect. Definitely pick up a set if you are looking for a ncie small bookshelf speaker. Strength:
good first "real" speaker, this pair of rt25's replace my original speakers. wonderful midrange, i'd probably lessen the brightness of the upper range just a wee bit, but hey, i got 'em for $50 each new. good price/performance ratio. i have them on 28" stands
Weakness:
none really if used for intended purpose, obviously they won't keep up w/ my friend's 55's good modest speaker for someone who has to consider family in the house.(tho my 5 yr. old thinks they look cool on the stands) Similar Products Used: n/a |

Strength:
Nice sound for the price.
Weakness:
Not much bass. A sub is a definite must. The new tweeter has a crisp tone. Midrange is also adquate. These speakers dont have much of a bass response. But you can't expect much from its size. I have a Boston PV400 sub to go with it. In a room of about 200 sq feet, the response is nice. These are hooked up to the Denon AVR 1601. I also enjoy the cabinetry of the RT25i. The cherry finish of actually wood adds a stylish touch. I hung the RT25i on the wall making them sounding better. |
