Strength:
Smooth Bass Response, High-In is crisp yet not harsh, price is awesome.
Weakness:
The appearence is average. These are the best bookshelves in this price category that I have heard and let me tell you I have listened to them all. Polk 35i, Paradigm Mini Monitors, B&W 600 seris, and Boston, these 2B are no comparison and the qualtiy is still there. Music is incredible along with movies. My Velodyne CT 100 brings out the bass with no problem and the 2B's high end is smooth. I can listen all day and have no problem doing it. That is what a speaker should do. I have the matching 8c center channel and the 1B's in the rear and the system matches beautifully. In this price category, you can't get anythig better and I have tested them all.
