I was looking for a new theater system and came across Streem... I searched for and never found a bad review so I took the plunge and purchased the HT808 system along with the sub-woofer. I am very glad I did, the sound is amazing. Powered by the Pioneer VSX1014 THX Receiver, my home theater sounds better than the theater! I paid appx. $866.00 for the speakers 397.00 for the receiver...so, for under $1300.00 I have a system that sound as if I paid $3000.00 www.Stationstreet.ca was great, I was not happy with the cosmetics of one speaker. John from stationstreet.ca sent out another speaker, when it arrived I boxed-up the speaker I was unhappy with and sent it back without cost to me, in fact, the price of these speakers included free shipping & no taxes, you just can't beat-em.

I'm a BASS freak, so I'm going to need a sub. I like when pictures fall off the walls during the THX sound check! And with the money I saved, I can afford to get a really good sub, which we all know, is the most important speaker in any home theater system! Treble is "kinda" sharp for my tastes. Simple adjustment on the amp fixed that.

WOW...thats how to best sum it up, WOW! Why anyone would pay thousands of dollars for a speaker system is beyond me. The price above is Canadian, and includes shipping, taxes, and everything! I received the speakers the day after I ordered them. Right there was a good start! Excellent packaging, and excellent customer service. But ultimately, it's the sound, right? I could not believe I paid less than a thousand Canadian for this 5 speaker system! Spec for spec (I checked,and cpmpared, believe me!), these speakers are right up there with the big boys in the industry! I guess you pay the extra to have a poplular nameplate on the front of them. Me personally, I'm happy to bear the name STREEM. Sound is phenomenal, especially considering the price. You won't go wrong purchasing this sytem. Paired with my Yamaha RX-V2500, it's definitely a system to be reckoned with! Will know more after the 7 day break in period. Bravo Streem! Thanks for making a kick ass system, that the "not so rich" can be proud of! Sure, some Audiophiles may say, it's not the same, but I would argue vehemently. Plus, it's my system, my ears, my money, and my choice....and my choice is STREEM! No question!

This HT-808 (plus extra 280's)streem speaker package is by far the best sounding set of speakers I have had the privilege to listen too let alone own. Fist off don't be afraid to order these online they come double boxed with anuff stuffing to fill both my garbage cans. The Speakers are out of the box totally cool looking. You will be happy if you like black and silver or are going for a sharper image look. Second these things are quality made speakers. They are heavy, and sleek with 24k feet spikes which stop your hard wood floors from rattling and produce better bass/low frequencies. Speaker Sound Quality/Reproduction: Fronts: The front speakers are worth the price of the package. Compared to the JBL Northridge's these BLOW THEM AWAY. The Bass is not at all Boomy and The Highs are a delight and have never spiked or caused me to even squint just beautiful sound reproduction. Midrange is also excellent. These kick. Center: Perfect blend with the fronts they sound audiophile matched right out of the box. The first thing I noticed is how well they reproduce the human voice, it’s almost scary. Larger than you expect however but it packs a huge punch. Surrounds: At first I was worried that these may be overpowered by my Yamaha 110 continuous 150 dynamic 175 max per channel amp. (The speakers are say 20-80 and max of 150) Boy was I wrong I cranked these puppy’s up and my mouth fell. Very clean and full surround not dull like the JBL'S. I heard just plain goodness. (SACD preformed well also w/dark side of the moon)Watch out however there are no speaker mounts on these surrounds so you have to get them elsewhere. I asked- if you put mounts on it will not void or change your warranty. Entire package: The speakers all sound great together and sound acoustically matched. (Not sure if they are but they sound like they are) If you have a Powerful enough amp you do not need a sub for this system. I have always liked the sub but am not sure after hearing them if I need one either. Service/Warranty I just want to say that station street service is the best I have ever had the privilege to deal with. Kind people who care about their customers. The five year warranty also helped secure that these will last a long, long time. I will update if things change but so far so very very good.

We started looking for speakers several months ago. After looking around in stores and doing some research via the Internet we stumbled upon Streem speakers. As we are always unsure about ordering over the Internet we were hesitant at first, but the Streem speakers seemed to be great value for the quality. We decided to purchase them and were impressed with the customer service and the packaging (we picked up the speakers and were treated very well). We decided to purchase the HT-808 and SR-280 package. At first we thought that we might purchase a sub when they become available but now we are re-thinking it as the sound quality is fabulous. Our surround sound is awesome and the speakers look very attractive in our living room. Great value, great service for a great product.

HT... great blend all around ... surrounds are kinda cheesy .. small bookshelves but they do thier job.. hey d give that $$ just for the mains.. nothing in best buy can touch these .. my living room is 15 x 21 with 10' ceilings .. full of sound .. all of you hesitating like i was go for it they rock ... i own speakers that i couldnt of bought one of for this price .. and these guys hang!!!!!

I finally made the plunge in purchasing an HDTV compatible widescreen TV, and wanted to round out my home theater set-up with a quality surround sound system. Being a musician, I have critical ears when it comes to music, but I am also on a budget and need to keep costs in line. I found the perfect fit with Streem's HT-808s. A good friend of mine directed me to several websites from various manufacturers, but most were out of my price range. I immidiately felt good about Streem however, and various product reviews online sold me, and I placed my order. When the packages first arrived, I was a little concerned as the boxes looked "roughed up", but I needn't be worried. They were all double-boxed, wrapped in plastic, and very well packaged. They emerged in perfect shape, and they are quite beautiful - obviously of very high quality. After getting my system set-up, all I can say is Wow. The speakers have a very nice overall sound, perfect for my needs. So far, a sub seems unnecessary, as there is plenty of deep punch on the low end. To sum it up, this system has enriched my home theater experience, and I would heartily recommend it to anyone.

I hunted the brick and mortar stores for weeks,same with the NET. Checked out just about all the popular brands of speakers...Boy am I glad I found STREEM! Kinda scary buying speakers on the internet I never even got to so much as touch!! But after reading the reviews and talking to the VERY KIND people at the online retailer,I went ahead and orderd. My A/V amplifier is 8.1 so, I needed a few more speakers to fill the system out. Ended up with the HT 808 System plus,2-SR280s and 1 CV-525.They came double boxed and with connectors and brass "feet".After hooking up ALL the wires I was super pumped to let em rip! I cant describe the SONIC PLEASURE this system has given me! Smooth tight bass,clean highs and mids that blend in just right. They also look very nice and have a quality "feel" to them. All in all I am VERY happy with them and will buy from Streem again.

I was looking to get into the home theater generation after getting my tosh 57h83.i looked and listened to alot of speakers from high end bose and paradigm to low end quest speakers.i new i was going with a yamaha 5750 reciever so i knew i had the power.MY brother inlaw has a setup of athena and warfdales and they do sound great but the price was so crazy,i was prepared to bite the bullet and spend the cash when i saw streem on ebay ,at first i said to myself,these HT-808 look too go to be true,most things are,but i read the warrenty,which i had 3 days to try them and send them back for a full money rebate,so what did i have to lose,$499 for a 5 piece system,awesome. After i payed for these they were sent the next day,fast service,anyway when i recieved them,i was surprised,doubled boxed WOW!!!,when i pulled them out even my wife said they were really nice.Rememeber to wives it has to fit in the rooms.Anyway i hooked them up to my reciever and i was in awe,they were awesome,sounded great,i even went a little further and bought a velodyne cht-10 to go with it,not that it needed it.But i thought it sounded as good as high end or higher priced system,so i brought in my brother in law to listen to them,he could not believe i only paid 499 for a system that looked,sounded and pounded like these,man was there a BIG smile on my face.All i can say to people looking for a great home theater system and want to save some bucks,give them a try,you have nothing to lose,and you will not look back like i did,thxs streem for giving me value for my money like every company should. The HT-808 are outstanding!!!!

I have wanted to build a home theatre for a number of years. Quality and price have always been the issue. I visited a number of electronics stores, Universal, circuit city, best buy, a bose outlet etc. I listened to ALOT of different speakers. The Polk Audio was where I was tending to lean. Then a friend suggested I look here at audio review to get some ideas. I came across the Streem speaker package right away. They looked nice, the specs were comparable and the reviews were positive. So I deceided to take a chance, how could I go wrong with a 100% money back guarentee? The service I received from station street was outstanding. Then when my speaker package arrived, I was amazed. I hooked them up to my rxv1400 and could blow out the windows if I wanted. I bi-wired the fronts, cool feature with dual binding posts. Something I've always wanted to do. I think I would have been throwing money out the window if I handn't found the Streem package. Definitly comparable to any of the other speakers I had gone to great lenghts to listen to. Money well spent.

I recently purchased the Ht-808 package, and I can't believe the quality of these speakers. I spent about 6 or 7 months looking for my ideal home theater system. Right away, I came across the Streem product line, but was hesitant because they were a relatively new company. I spent the next few months watching for reviews on this system, and after finding only the highest remarks, I took a chance and went with them. Wow. First, the speakers come double boxed with plenty of packaging. This was the first sign of quality. Once you get these out of the box, it hits you. I haven't seen a better looking speaker anywhere. The chrome on the bottom of the towers is the icing on the cake. After hooking up these babies to my amp, it was poetry to my ears. The range of these speakers is unreal. Adding a subwoofer would be insulting to this system. I'm already worried about getting kicked out of my apartment because of the bass these produce. Not to mention, when I play an acoustic track, you really feel as though you are right there in concert. The clarity of the high range is amazing. I think it is important to mention this: when I received the package, one of the woofers in the fronts was defective. But within 3 days, the speaker left my place, was fixed and returned. Now that's customer service. Bottom line, this has got to be the best steal on the net. It is unfortunate that these aren't in stores where you could hear them for yourself, but then they would have to increase the price like their competitors. Take my word for it, you won’t be disappointed.
