Extreme room shaking power

Very place sensitive. For its size you would think it would louder

I got a lot of mixed feelings with this subwoofer.

First off the sub was very powerful and was able to shake the walls pretty good. The only problem is the sound it created wasn't that loud. You felt much more than you heard.
In my opinion, a lot of people would like that a lot more, but the way it sounded made you think, is that all? I have tried placing the sub in numerous places and got different sounds. I placed the sub in the corner facing outwards and I got the description I got above. But when I faced the sub into the corner, it seemed to play much lower and louder but less room shaking. I think this is a quality sub. If you want to simulate earthquakes, so buy this sub. If you want to listen to pop music that has alot of sound in its bass, still get it. Just pair it up with a with two good full range speaker that has an 8 inch or woofer better in it.

I had to give it a 5 since there isn't an almost perfect score like 4.5

Good Lord this a big box to have around, but that’s Cerwin-Vega – big and powerful! (Actually the size is quiet cool)

I have not bought it yet, but will soon. Gave it a serious test this weekend, drove the shop crazy. As I have used most of my money on the rest of system I was looking for value for money.

What would you like to blow away today? That’s exactly the way to describe this woofer.

With this subwoofer you have the possibility to add a solid bass foundation to the Home Cinema. I also heard the Cerwin-Vega LW-12X which can pep up the film experience with it’s strong and powerful sound pressure. If you like even wilder bass, everything points in the direction of LW-15X. With it’s supernatural powers in the LFE area makes it more like torture instrument than a subwoofer for normal use.

For the non-rich Audiophile this is a “must have”.

Maybe it is more for Home Cinema than Stereo, but surround is also delivered in a very heavy way!

In the future I will add a comprehensive review. I would like to answer questions, if you have some. And will be looking forward to owning this.

For the price here in Denmark ($530) this is at least a 5 star product!!
