It performs very well, even better than my high expectations.

250 watts may be too strong for my townhouse.

The Definitive Technology ProSub 80 does everything perfect for me. I have it working with an RBH Sound FX-80 Transduers (VT-4 kit) to keep the neighbor complaints to a minimun(see review under Accessories-Other). I only wish I had a basement to unleash my ProSub 80. Thanks to Audioreview.com and The Digital Ear, I made another intelligent and educated purchase. Thanks guys !

Darn Near Everything

I'm the pickiest person I know - and I can't think of a single one.

I absolutely love this little subwoofer!

I have a regular salesperson that I work with locally, and he talked me out of going for the more expensive 10" or 12". He said this one would do everything I need. He made me an offer - try this one - if you don't like it, return it whenever I like and they'll take it in for trade on one of the others.

Needless to say, I didn't return it. The fact that it's only 8" only adds to the awe. I have a fairly large room (16x30 with vaults) and it fills it beautifully.

I have literally been out by the street getting our mail and heard the street lights rattle. Wow.

It's deep, it's tight, and it's as loud I could ever want. What else is there? Oh yeah - it's musical. Many subs just beat out loud deep sounds, but not this guy. It really brings music alive and blends perfectly with my Definitive Technology ProMonitor 200's.

If anybody here has an old White Lion CD floatin' around, try this sub with "Broken Hearted". Awesome!

Anyway, I highly recommend this sub. For the $350 range, I don't see how you can possibly beat it.
