None except maybe some low freqs are a little shaky.

I have a yamaha 7.1 reciever and paradigm refrence series L and R channels with a paradigm cc-190 center channel. The rear channels are another cc-190 and two paradigm titans for the rear L and R. Let me tell you this: as it may have taken me awhile to come up with the cash it was well worth the wait!
I love my HT, Pair these speaks with a 55 inch LCD and an Upconvert DVD, I can hardly wait to get off work. Well done Paradigm, Well done.

Blends well with my Studio 40s Bang for the buck Bang for the size Auto On/Off

Excellent little sub for the money. I was originally going for a 12" and figured that I'd have to spend a lot more, but this sub fits the bill perfectly. I'm using it with Paradigm Studio 40's as my mains. This sub blends well with my mains and fills out that bottom end very transparently. My wife keeps asking me if it's on it blends so well with the mains. I have an average size living room (14 x 20 if I had to guess) and the PDR10 fills it out adequately, though I am not one of those guys who likes a whole lot of bass anyway. I have the volume at about %50 usually and the crossover at 60hz. I have my reciever sending bass to both my mains and the sub (no cutoff set at the receiver). My mains probably go down to about 40-45hz before they start to roll of significantly. I haven't experienced any boomyness with this sub, but I've never really cranked either. It keeps up with all the music I play. Mostly guitar rock or folk type stuff. For some music I still prefer a stright 2.0 system, and I'll just turn the sub volume down to 0%, but I think this would be true with any sub that I found.

This is a great little sub for the money. It is a great match for the Monitor 5's. It can get a little boomy depending on the input. I would definately recomend this sub for someone looking for an affordable quality sub.

Non removeable grill...thats being picky because nothing is perfect..especially in this price range

In my recent pursuit to discover the joys of tight beautiful bass at a reasonable price I was fortunate to find this gem. I had previously auditioned a HSU STF-2 as recommended by the good people at HSU, which were wonderful to deal with, but I found that subwoofer to be to "BASS Conscious," for my current musical taste and home theater needs. After a trip down to my local hifi store I was recommended by the owner to give the PDR10 a shot and thank god I did. Its bass is clear, concise, and subtle something I particularily enjoy when watching a good movie or listening to jazz. Don't be fooled though this sub can rock if you want it to especially during movies like U571, Matrix, Black Hawk Down ect..I myself am on a very limited budget with Law School and all and have found this subwoofer to be well worth the money I spent on it, which when you really think about it is a lot to say considering all the so called "subwoofers" that can be had for less than this.

Not a removeable front grill which would probably never get removed anyways, I guess it's the thought about doing it that would be nice eh!

I finally finished off my latest home theater package with proof you can build a excellent system without compromising money(no I didn't steal it all),I didn't spend as much as most Audiophiles do, or what I did for my last system. This Sub definatley does the job that many expensive and overrated subs do as well. For the price, this sub is tops on my list. If someone is looking for excellent sound, bass, control, and not a high price, then get this sub. I have my system in a room that is 24X20 and everyone says my components won't perform good in that size a room but I prove them all wrong. This sub shakes the hell out of the window two floors up at the other end of the house, not kidding either!

Receiver: Denon AVR-3803 Sources used: Denon DCM-380, Music Choice Main speakers: Paradigm Legend v3 I’ve had my Legends v3’s for about two months. Although the legends are outstanding they are a bit weak in the bass. After adding the PDR-10 the bass range of the sound stage sprang to life. This sub is very precise and tight but does not sound “boomy” at all. The end result is a quite natural sounding extension to bass frequencies. The sub enclosure is solid and well made but the puck like feet are a bit cheap. The level and cut-off controls allow the sub to be matched to the main speakers nicely. Unfortunately the front grille is fixed; it would be nice to remove it for cleaning. I read one review that stated the PDR-10 had an LFE input only, this is untrue; both high level (speaker) and a LFE input are on it.

I am currently using this sub while I wait for my new PDR-12 to be delivered to my local dealer. This unit is much more responsive than I had hoped. I can actually hear tonal differences of those "below 100 Hz sounds" (e.g., percussion on Hotel California, Eagles, Hell Freezes Over DVD) which my previous sub never could reproduce with much accuracy. This little sub has fairly good punch for the size, though my choice to eventually go for the PDR-12 was influenced by wanting to have more flexibility for a larger room at some point in the future than the PDR-10 will allow. Don't think I have auditioned anything in this price range that can touch it.

Need a semi-small room to be effective.

I have had my home theatre system minus sub for a few months and have been urging myself to get a sub. I read reviews and heard from audio pros that Paradigm was the best speaker for the money. I would have to agree. I have the gain turned only half way up and the volume not very high and this thing delivers exactly what i was looking for. It wont shake your pants off but delivers excellent bass. If you like a good balance between lows and highs, this would be a good sub in my opinion.
