May be to deep for some to place. I wanted a 10" sub to replace my PSB Subsonic 5. I realized that I needed a different sub after I purchased the recently released Star Wars Box. I popped in the first movie and noticed some port noise when the giant space ship flew over head. I got on line and checked around to see what I could find. Lowe and behold SVS was coming out with a 10" version sub. I had purchased two of their 20-39PCi subs and LOVED them. The purchase of the 10" was a no-brainer. The sub showed up yesterday and wow! It's appearance is breath taking. It's twice as long, deep and taller than the PSB. The build is solid and fantastic. Performance is outstanding. I played that same Star Wars scene after I hooked it up and all it did was bark it back at me. It goes very low and doesn't give at all. I thought about buying the Velodyne digital 10" sub. I am very happy that I instead purchased the PB-10. I paid 399.00, which was their entry price, vs. 1200.00 for the velodyne and I think the SV has much better performance than the velodyne!Everything about this sub from it's looks to it's performance is top notch. I was so impressed, I bought a second one. The first one was for the front to go with my center channel and the second one is for the rear to go with rear channel. Please go to the SVS web site and study the specs then read the reviews. The packaging SVS provides is fantastic. You get 2 backup fuses with this sub. I can't remember any company giving fuses with their products. I am a real person who loves music and now home theater. I highly highly recommend SV Subwoofers. Similar Products Used: PSB Subsonic 5 |
