Strength:
Superb Picture. Excellent Geometary.Vast Array of Options for Sound as well as Picture. Zippy Looks. Elegant Sony Stand.
Weakness:
A little Expensive but wait and see what you get! This review is for the new KV32FV12. This TV has a superb picture. It has a clarity and detail that was reserved only for Profeel Monitors from a couple of years ago. The colour is superb also. I have to agree with Peter Duminy's review that the extra money needed to purchase this Prouduct is well worth it in the long run. We all have to look at our TV's for many years to come. The sound was great with lots of options. The TV comes with many Picture options also, from Sports,Movie,Vivid, and Standard. One even has 3 Colour Tempratures to choose from. A big stunning Picture is waiting for those who are in the market for a 32" Television! |

Strength:
Lovely Picture.Nice Sound.Good Remote.
Weakness:
A bit pricey...until you relax and enjoy. A superb Picture and excellent sound all wrapped up in this TV Package.I really liked the styling and the controls on the top of the set. This Wega Picture tube is excellent in all lighting situations. The flat screen is a conversation piece when company visits. DVD discs look stunning as there is a component video input,as well as the S-video input. The surround sound mode is very good, making a big sound stage. You need to make sure your cable Company's signal is good,as this TV is ruthless at exposing noisy signals.Great colour, definition, and depth is in this TV the moment you switch it on. Simply Great. |

Strength:
Picture quality flat and glare free, ease of menu use and adjustments, number of inputs
Weakness:
weight and the owners manual detail is lame Looked at many sets features and picture quality and $ for $ this was the best buy without stepping into the $$$$$$ of purchasing an HD-TV. Also I believe that the resolution specs reasonably compare to the resolution that HD-TV sets will be using. Gets you about 80% there. I use the set as a monitor only have the S-video port connected to the S-video port of my Sony SAT-A50 receiver. As perfect picture quality as one could hope for. I must say I do not understand some of the negative reviews seen below. The color quality and clarity is great, a very real looking deep image is easily produced. If you are in the market and considering this set, for what it is worth it has my recommendation!!!! Similar Products Used: Mitsubishi 26" |

Strength:
Overall clarity and color. DVD's look incredible. Menu is extensive.
Weakness:
Weight, blurry screen with cable menus, dark band on left side of screen, color bleeds in left upper and lower corners Set looks great with digital input. Average look with cable channels and VCR tapes. Set weighs a ton, so don't plan on moving it much. I plan on returning this set. I am looking into a Toshiba 36" set for $500 cheaper. Remote is easy to use. Sound is good but seems a little under powered. I expected a lot more from this set for the money. |

Strength:
Good Picture and Sound When It Works
Weakness:
It broke down twice, weighs more than I do. This worthless piece of Crap. Broke twice. The First time it broke, it took two months to fix. Now, It broke again and Still hasn't been fixed. I am Going to ask if I can get a newer or different model, because this one has been giving me nothing but trouble. It's driving me insane. Last Time I buy Sony Anything. I won't even buy a $10 set of headphones for my CD Player. Anyway, Watch out with this crap. Similar Products Used: GE TV, Sharps (I never had any problems with both of them) |

Astonishing Picuture. Great colour. Gorgeous Flat Screen that is almost black.
Weakness:
Owner's manual is the world's shortest book! What a pleasant surprise this TV has been. The picure in a word is Astonishing! Even cable looks great on this this TV,and good old fashined VHS has clarity I have never seen. I am amazed with DVD using Component Input. I loved the 16:9 feature and the colours are superb. All the graphics are dead straight also. I am glad I paid the extra bucks, I know there is cheaper stuff out there, but when I see it I shudder! |

Strength:
Stunning Picture. Gorgous lush colour. Superb clarity. Outstanding geometry. Nice sound. Love that flat screen.
Weakness:
Owner's manual is too skimpy. A fabulous TV regardless of price! I checked other brands, and almost got sucked into purchasing the 36" Toshiba Model I have heard about. It was in my Home I saw the difference. The Toshiba had a green hue all the time including Black and white movies, poor geometry vertically and horizontally. I then unpacked the Sony 32" Wega FS12, and ran them side by side. What a difference! The Sony won hands down on EVERY visual aspect. The Colour is right on with the Sony. Black and white movies had no green hue or any other tints. Fleshtones were superb, and the clarity is the best out of the two by far. Geometery is outstanding in all planes. I cannot agree with the previous reviewer,s comments regarding the expense extra, or visual findings. I think the Wega is still the "King of the Hill", and will remain that way for a long time to come. A "Best Buy" is my Rating! |

Strength:
Good Picture,looks hi-tech
Weakness:
Geometry,geometry,geometry.Service.Very poor on some sources& poor value This was a very bad deal from the start. The TV had curved lines in all 4 corners.Anything that scrolled was distorted.Called Circuit City for in-home service(extra $$ contract) & they couldn't get to me before the 30 day return period ended(3 weeks of phone calls, promises,no action),so I returned it and went to Sears for a Toshiba 36A50.This is simpy a better TV.When cost is takeninto account,it is no contest. The 30 day Sony factory labor guarantee is a joke. They treat you like an infant when you call & offered me no satisfaction. No more Sonys for me.Over-priced & over advertised. Strength:
- Nice bright picture
Weakness:
- No PIP on this model I used to watch all my DVDs on my computer monitor or on a borrowed wall video projector. This TV is fantastic for digital video in. In fact it's so crisp that you can actually see the digital artifacts in the picture on some movies. This is actually a bad thing when it comes to 'dirty' inputs like regular coax cable. The picture looks a bit grainy. Similar Products Used: - 19" Viewsonic computer monitor |
