Anyways – the point being – is that quality shouldn’t matter what country it comes from. If you like the sound and the budget is with in your range than sound is really all that matters. American made vs. whatever – just taking American made over the other for no good reason other than nationalism is just selling your ears short.
And that the 300B is an old Western Electric (read AT&T) design?
It gets confusing after awhile.
Anyone that judges a tube amp by power output is not a true audiophile.
